    Hi GR
ended up not going. It closed at 8 the one I wanted to go to so will probably go this weekend. Me and my last minute decisions :D I didn't have a clue what I wanted either so just as well, need to take a pattern with me.
Just been to asda but will probably have to go again, I didn't take a list...
    Have a great Saturday GR

Good morning all and what a lovely morning it is. Can see me getting lots of drying done on the line today.

At least you've got something to look forward to over the weekend now Diz. I took my mum to the local wool shop last weekend as she wanted wool to knit DD some jumpers. Didn't realise how difficult it was to get hold on it now, it seems to be dying out.

Have had a lie in this morning and feel so much better for it. Have got a few things planned for today i.e washing, usual tidying up, take kids for haircuts, post off Amazon parcel and paint the bathroom ceiling. That's about it, I think. I'm sure other jobs will need doing but these are the ones that I want finished by tonight.

Will be popping back and forth here of course to keep up to date with everyones progress and will hopefull catch you later Diz.

    Hi GR
There doesn't seem to be as many wool shops about even though it seems to be having a revival. John Lewis does have a fabulous range though and some lovely material for sewers.
I didn't go today though, done nothing and feel like I'm getting a head cold. Glad you're feeling better, a lie in is great isn't it?
Been a dryish day today apart from some hailstone but it's very chilly now.
Hope you get the bathroom ceiling done.

    Now that's worth a quote...

Erm the bathroom ceiling has been a bit of a failure! I'm too short to reach it even standing on a step ladder and standing on tippy toes. Its part of my plan to put a suspended ceiling in there to make it lower and thus warmer but unfortunately I haven't got the spare cash yet. Last time I painted it I fell off the step ladder so I don't know why I'm attempting it again. Have given up now!

Not had a very productive day at all. Remembered about 4.30 that DD needed new shoes to go to school on Monday so off we popped to Asda to buy some, then I took mum to a party that she's been invited to and now bathed, jammies on waiting to see if I've won the lottery. Oh yes and a little alcoholic drink to chill me out!

That's either a huge ceiling, or a tiny set of steps...

I'm glad you didn't persevere with the ceiling then GR. Lots of accidents happen in the home don't they.
I think I'll get my pjs on too. I've had a bath and........forget that, I promised DS I'd pick him up later....might send OH but he usually goes to bed well before we do.
I suppose I can have them on for a few hours and just throw my coat over them later.
Good luck with the lottery GR I'll cross my fingers for you.

Neither, I'm only 3 foot. :rotfl:

Only joking. Old house, old fashion really high ceilings and the step ladder only had 2 steps. If I go up any higher I get scared!!!!!

Good morning. Had another lie in this morning. I'm turning into a right lazy moo.

Another bright day here (only snow on the mountains) so maybe able to dry some more clothes outdoors. Going to catch up on some housework this morning, have lunch at mums then hopefully get some college work done this afternoon.
