    Good morning,
I know what you mean Diz about the kids kicking you off the computer, mine constantly want me to download songs onto their phones and mobiles!!!

Well the quidco money has gone in today so I've transferred it straight into the ISA bringing my total up to £275 weyhey. I'll hopefully get the new paying in book today so I can get the cheque paid in as well and that will take me over the £300 mark then.

Starting work early today, again.... I seem to be giving them an extra couple of hours per week on a regular basis now. Still I can't grumble because they are really flexible with DD's hospital appointments etc.

Got my packed lunch all ready for today, that's 2 days on the row.

Will report back later with any updates.

    Have a good day

Today has been a disappointing day - I want something exciting to happen every day that's my trouble.

Thought I would have had the paying in book in the post today - but No. I've never been so excited about paying a cheque in before, anyone would think it was for millions not £43.

Going to have a nice hot bath and a little glass of wine tonight. May even try to finish reading my book. it sounds boring but its free!

  • Hiya GR
hope you had that relaxing evening.
I know what you mean about wanting everyday to be money orientated. I suppose it still is if it's been a day without spending. It's still money saving but it's nice to 'see' the money isn't it iykwim.
Well done with the money totals that's building up really nicely.

    Hi Dizzy,

I had a lovely evening, hot bath, few chocolates and a little glass of wine. Managed to finish my book, Racer it was called Secret diary of a demented housewife. It was bought for me as a present - can't think why!

I also started reading another book about Adam Ant's life story - never could resist a man in feathers and lip gloss!!! Another present so very moneysaving. (Got so many books that I've had for presents and not got around to reading yet).

Well we're half way through the week already and I'm not doing so bad (thank you quidco). Have got my lunch all ready (that's 3 days on the run) and I'm nearly ready to hit the workplace.

Hope you all have a good day, speak later x

Update..... Have just found another spare £30 lurking in the current account. Transferred £20 into ISA but kept the £10 in case I need it before tax credits go in on Friday WayHay. Just off to update signature.

Hi GR, I have just finished that book! It is hilarious. It was also brought for me as a joke- I don't have any kids. I still enjoyed. I am more into autobiographies. I got loads of books as well but I have finished 3/4 of them with one more to go lol. You are doing so well and it is only 6th of Feb. Well Done

I am so angry, my sister has only gone and applied for a massive loan (£15,000) with Advantage Loans - my advice stay away from them. She was told that she was accepted on Monday and has to pay £50. She's had the paperwork through today and the loan is for £3000, has a whopping 45% APR and she needs a guarantor. I can't believe how dull some people can be.

I've just put an email together for her demanding the repayment of the £50 and cc'd the e-mail to the MD. I always google sites before I use them and can't believe that she doesn't do the same.

This company has well and truly done her a favour, she's going to have some strict MSE lessons from e starting tonight.

As for the rest of my day - it wasn't too bad really. Not done anything exciting but didn't waste money either.

I do not believe it (Victor Meldrew creeping in there)...OH bought me 'Secret Diary of a Demented Housewife' off one of the children, for my birthday and I must admit it could have been me saying some of the things 'Susie' was saying. Very funny. I've just finished reading a Fay Weldon called 'She May Not Leave', also 'Don't You Want Me' by India Knight and 'Shopaholic Abroad' by Sophie Kinsella. Those from the library I might add. Going through a chick lit phase at the moment. I love reading and once I start a book I can read till about three in the morning...no wonder I'm always tired.:D
Your totals are just getting better GR, you're really very determined at the moment aren't you?
That was a bit of a close shave regarding your sister and the loan...really scary isn't it, good job you can point her in the right direction.
I don't know about you GR but can't wait for some warm weather to sit out in the garden in...the sun on your face and a chilled glass of something to hand.
Keep up the good work hun.

The book 'Don't you want me' was from a charity shop think it was 50p. Had to add that as I said it was from the library lol.
