On another hand shop around and see if you can get a better deal. If you can't then renew your contract.I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.I am a money magnet. Money comes easily and frequently.Canada excursion fund £1243/2500£10000 from £100 challenge £0/£10,0000

I think I'll hang on to it for a few weeks and then look into it. My aim this month (apart from saving) is to see if my secured loan will be cheaper by adding it onto my mortgage with the Halifax. Not done anything about that yet but I will once half term is out of the way.
I really should be cleaning instead of sitting here on the computer but I just can't be bothered. My house looks as if a bomb has been dropped in the middle of the living room. Had a death in the family today - Lesley the Hamster passed away this morning and the kids are in mourning.... Have been pigging out on jam tarts, cadbury cream eggs and pop to try to make them feel better.0 -
Good morning all. My sister has just phoned me to say she's had £49.99 credited back into her account from Advantage Loans. Really good news. Hoping now she will have her LBM and try and get herself sorted.
Am aiming to stay in today and clean. Didn't get much done last night despite my plans. Already got some washing in and the dishes soaking. It's a lovely day down here today so I'm going to strip my bed, wash the bedding and let it dry outside!0 -
Hi GR
I thought I would hop threads and come over here if you dont mind. Keep trying with the housework, little and often is usually better. You've done more than me this morning.
Have the kids recovered from their loss yesterday?:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0 -
Hi Wendy of course I don't mind. We've all recovered from the loss of Lesley!!!
Keep going away to do some chores then popping back on here to catch up. Put some more washing on, washed kitched floor and I'm back again. Am bribing DD to help me but as she only has one arm it's not easy!
Am sitting here waiting for the postman and hoping he's going to bring me a nice surprise. I'm not expecting anything but you never know. I can remember the days when I absolutely dreaded the postman coming because it was always bad news he brought. These days he brings me offers of loans and credit cards from every organisation under the sun and I don't even feel tempted with them.
Going to strip the bed now, be back in 50 -
:j Well I finally got some nice post, confirmation that my role is now permanent and a nice little pay rise:j
This should at least mean my debt should not get any worse and should be able to stay on target or even possibly (dont want to get my hopes up too much) bring my DFD down a bit.
Fingers crossed you get something nice too. Right, I had better actually do something this morning like get dressed
! :jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0 -
Well done you. Nothing much in the post today just letter off AA offering to quote for my home insurance. Got the bedding in the machine and put fresh on the bed. Got to dress now and pop out to post a letter and get some takeaway lunch (it's OK, it's all budgeted for)
Catch up later0 -
Hello GR...another weekend and some sunny weather for a change. There's nothing nicer than washing blowing in the wind...ok there is but it does look nice doesn't it?
You're money saving is very healthy GR, you're doing so well. :T
I'm doing some de-cluttering this week-end. Was meant to start on the kitchen cupboards but got sidetracked by some drawers in the living room, I have that much clutter it's actually starting to 'drag' me down iykwim. It's my fault I can't bare to throw anything away.
Hope you get lots done today but don' forget to catch some sun.

De-cluttering makes you feel so much better. The trouble with me is that I don't keep anything at all, as soon as its met its purpose its out.
Been up to Comet and it set me back £40, also bought a power lead for my home phone as the old one was broken and we've been doing without the phone and just using the extensions.
We're all back working again (it was cheaper than buying new phones so I've saved money there).0
