Morning to everyone. Not got much excitement planned for today, haircuts, dinner out and cooking this afternoon to stock the freezer up with some meals for lunch next week. Hoping to spend a maximum of £35. Still not posted the mobile phones off so will make that a priority today.

As the weather is dry I'll hopefully get the chance to hoover out the car.

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope your all having a lazy day. DD and DS gone with ex OH today so I'e got a few hours of freedom. Have managed to scrounge lunch at mums so am really gonna chill out.

Had CSA of OH and he's given me an extra £20. I don't know whether its intentional so I'm not going to say anything in case he'll want it back. If I get away with keeping it, I'll pop it into the ISA tomorrow!!!!!

Mobile phone broke this morning and I thought I'd have to buy another one but apparently its under warranty so I'm borrowing DD's phone until my replacement phone is delivered Tuesday morning.

Have just transferred another £8.63 into the ISA, not a lot I know, but it's bumping the total up nicely. Need to find £22 by Thursday.

Ex OH didn't say anything about the extra £20 in my CSA money. I didn't say anything either, is that wrong of me?

Oh well another £20 in the ISA tomorrow!
  • Hiya GR...sorry for late posting. As you know I've been a bit naughty and just added an update on my diary.
I don't think you were wrong not to mention the extra money to OH, well I wouldn't have done anyway. It's all part and parcel of what you spend on the children anyway and they are his...so don't feel guilty.
I think it's brilliant how you're so focussed on getting that isa up.
I should put some things on ebay but to be honest I haven't the energy at the moment.
Hope you had a lovely relaxed day to yourself. You deserve it.Another week gone by, you were only saying how fast they seem to fly.
I thought I'd do a really cheap valentine gift for OH and bought a lovely cup from the co-op with hearts on, not tacky it looks really nice and was going to put some chocs in it...but when I came back with the shopping he'd unpacked it...anyway he's still getting it. Hope all's still okay with you in the romance dept.
Take care and have a good monday at work.

Good morning Diz, You knew the OD was going to go up didn't you. Look at the debt 1 and 2 totals though. One step at a time, you can concntrate on the OD when they are done and dusted.

Romance a bit too slow for my liking at the moment. He's in the process of selling his house down south so he's a bit stressed, I don't deal too well with stress so I've taken a backseat until the house is on the market. At the moment he hasn't got anywhere to live when he does sell and me being a bit of an ostrich and burying my head haven't asked him where he's going to live.

I have told him he's welcome at mine but he's not made any decisions!!!

Got busy day today, got to pay in the extra £20 into the ISA, got to take DD to clinic this morning (hope everything is still OK with her) and then she's got her parents evening tonight.

Off to work now so I'll report back later.

    Have a good day x

Not feeling so enthusiastic this evening. Had to start work early so I could have an hour off at 11.30 to go to clinic with DD. That wasn't at all positive and was told she'd have to go to theatre again in a few months time. Spent 2 hours in the clinic then went back to work to a load of b1tch1ng cos I'd had 2 hours off.

Then had text message off my nephew cos he's got himself in financial problems and gone with a fee paying debt management company. He's coming to see me on Thursday so I can see what I can do for him.

Am feeling really worn down and tearful tonight. Just want to run away and live in the mountains all on my own.

I did pay the £20 into the ISA though so that's brought me closer to my target.

    Big hugs to you. :grouphug:

Remember, this morning will be forgotton tomorrow morning, when some other scandal apart from two hours off will rear its head. Like the milk being further down than estimated...

Other people have problems and you can help them, but you can't solve their problems for them. Give your best advice, but don't stress over their problems - keep your stress for yours! ;)

Romance will always be too slow until it isn't, then it'll be too fast. Sometimes it's too slow and too fast all at once. Just sit back, relax, and be carried along on its warm gentle waves.

    :T Well done you!

Now celebrate with a warm cup of chocolate, and a good night's sleep. Everything is better after a good night.

Thanks ZTD, think I may opt for the vodka tho rather than the cup of chocolate. Really need a good night sleep, stayed awake for hours last night trying to think up ways to kill ex OH after he took DD to an adventure playground, bearing in mind her wrist is so badly broken and unstable at the moment that you can't 'breathe on it' for fear of it breaking!!!

Aw GR...sending you a big cyber hug...........there you go :D
It's not nice when there's an atmosphere at work. Your DD comes before anything so don't you feel bad about that at all, ignore them!
Your ISA target is looking great as well, focus on how brilliant you're doing.
AS for the romance if it's meant to be it will happen. I always think 'leave it in the lap of the gods' and don't make too hasty a decision hun, think long and hard, I know you'll do that anyway :D
AS for ex OH...I'm not surprised you were mad but thankfully she was ok, try not to waste any energy on this, though ok if it was cathartic for you :D
Big hugz to you and hope you feel better tomorrow. Have a chilled out evening and cheers to you when you have that wee drop of vodka.
