Hi GR,I must admit I hate this time of the year and when Iwas in Debt I was doing a second job to pass the time but not this year. I have had a black cloud follow me today and didn't lift until work finished lol!! Glad the Halifax is sorted! At least thats something! I hope tomorrow is better for you.

Thanks Diz and Racer. Today I'm feeling a lot more upbeat. It may be because its payday.....

Am going to the post office before work today to post off the phone for envirofone and earn myself a whopping £25 and I'm going to take £5 of the coins to pay in and then transfer into ISA. Will have the take the other 5 bags of coppers tomorrow as they only accept 5 per day!

Have a good day everyone and I'll post back later with any developments.

Well I was allowed to pay the whole £10 in coppers into my ISA today so I've added it into my total. I'm starting to panic that I'm not going to be able to reach the £200. I've got £139.00 at moment and there's another £30 lottery win to be included at the end of the week so that takes me to £169. Need to find another £31 from somewhere.....

Have transferred the £30 lottery winnings into the ISA today, that way I won't be tempted to spend it.

Have received the paperwork from the mobile phone trade-in company today. Got 3 phones to trade in one worth £38, one worth £42 and one worth £5. Nice little earner. Can't see me getting this money until February though so will have to add that into February's target.

Can't see e making any more money between now and the 31st so I may have to take the £31 from my weekly allowance :( Never mind, as long as I get to £200.

Hiya GR...hope you've had a good day today. Must be feeling so pleased at watching your savings grow. Every little bit helps. I can remember if my change in shops was only a penny I'd say 'it doesn't matter about the penny'.
Now I wait for it and think thats another for the copper jar.:D
It's been a funny week this week hasn't it?
Hope your DD is recovering well.
    Take care.

Hi there Diz, can you believe it's coming to the end of another week, where is the time going. DD is milking this all she can! but hopefully she'll avoid going to theatre again if I wrap her up in cotton wool and keep her indoors for the next 4 weeks.....

I know what you mean about keeping the pennies. If someone is in front of me in a queue and they tell the shopkeeper to keep the change I get quite angry and wanna shout give it to me for my copper jar! How sad is that.

It is a good feeling watching my savings grow and I am determined not to spend it. Have tried to make oney out of absolutely everything over the last few weeks just to pay it into the ISA. Once it starts mounting up it'll give me more incentive to save.

How are you feeling now, any better?

    Hiya GR...
Glad everything is going ok. Poor DD, sometimes it's nice to be able to spoil them a little isn't it though.
So glad you're doing well with your savings. This is my next plan once I've paid off the debts.
Feeling a little better thanks. Throat still feels like I'm swallowing razor blades but I'm determind to be in school on monday.
I can't believe the weeks almost over either GR, time goes so fast, that's why you have to grab it with both hands...:D

Today's moneysaving plan is to get the old mobile phones in the post to the co panies that will turn them into cash for me.

I've emptied my purse of everything but notes (only one £5!!!) and have put everything over 10p (£5.30) into the sealed pot and the coppers (13p) into the coppers jar. Have paid my £10 savings to y mum for Christmas 2008 so I'm up to date with everything.

Hope you all have a good day today and I'll catch up with everyone later.

    GR x
