    THank (whatever) it's Friday.

DW x 1 WM x 1 about to put TD on as its towels, then they're out of the way. Still haven't finished last week's ironing from last weekends wash frenzy.

'Popped' to Meadowhall last night as I still had a gift card from last xmas which would have expired in three weeks (and I know someone who went a week after a £50 gift card expired and they wouldn't extend it!). Now have new lippy! Awful accident, though, right outside the arena, where an event was on. Traffic dreadful as a result of both these.

Have a good day all and happy flying!

Ffffff-reeeeezing here this morning! Gas ran out in the night, so no heating or hot water. Cue moi, in my fluffy dressing gown and wellies climbing over bricks and pipes with a flashlight to switch over to the new canister at 6 o'clock.

Back in bed with a cuppa. Brrrrr

Got the skids this weekend, plus GF, so I need to go food shopping today. The cupboards are bare.

Warm hugs (like Olaf) all round x

I'm loving the Olaf hug! Stoking up with coffee and bracing myself to de-ice the car....but at least it is light, which was more than could be said at 3pm yesterday. I could hardly see to vac the bedroom ;)
  • Wow you all have such busy exciting lives!

Not working today so planning to FLY.

    So far I have
Opened windows, stripped bed, put cleaner down loos, cleared fire, WM on, bins brought back in, all tidied away. Just having breakfast then will go and get on with some flying. Also need to sit down and look at finances and move money about and some other admin bits plus finish my training session on line.

Porridge eaten and coffee drunk so had better get going. See you all later!

    SMILES all round!

Dot got Star of the Week at school sowe just got back from there.. freezing here too!

Twinkle seems to be rather tired, she is just whining constantly so hopefully shewill sleep soon and I am hoping to summon the energy to sort through 7 small boxes of gibble in the girls room .. and maybe sand the bathroom a bit.. I'm wondering if I am brave neough to venture into the realm of taking the sink off the wall so I can get the tiling done..I don't mind tiling I'm just apprehensive about removing the sink!

  • Pigpen, Well done Dot! Tiling, I wish I had your confidence and motivation. My bathroom needs the shower ripping out and re doing but I definitely don't feel capable of doing it.

I've flown this morning, sheets changed, dusted, vacuumed, cleaned loos, and WM on again. Just about to have lunch before throwing a few things in a bag for me and OH for the weekend. Seeing DD1 on the way home on Sunday evening so looking forward to that. Xmas present ordered for OH, DD2 sorted so at leat I've made a start!

Remeber to do something that makes you smile!

    xx

Hi Natty please could you add me on FB? I messaged you my details xx

Busy but lovely morning here. Stocked up on supplies in the village, popped to Aldi and had a mooch in the charity shop. Just having a cuppa and watching Motherland. Will probably take the car for the school run as its really chilly now.

Desparately need a new coat for DD, nothing in the charity shop, going to have to save and get her a brand new one next week xx

I have still only managed 15 bags out.. but we took a dead greenhouse and 10 garden chairs to the tip from outside, and a few odds and ends from inside such as bent broom handles I had used for cleaning behind radiators.. but you only really need 1! I have 2 bags still for charity shop and these 7 stacking boxes to get sorted once madam goes for her nap.. hopefully in the next 10 minutes.

I have taken the toy storage out of the front room upstairs to the space I had created in the girls room and I have lots to go in the loft when OH next has a day off.. hopefully Sunday or Thursday next week, if he is off any other day he goes into college and Saturday we have swimming for the girls so it is impossible to get anything done then.

The table I had planned to put in the alcove in the front room won't fit so the green chair in the middle room is going to my mothers, the coffee table into the bay and the sofa that is in the bay coming into the middle room until January so I can have my christmas tree up.. that is also getting done on OHs next day off.

I have to clear floor on the landing, there is a fair chunk to go in the loft but I can't clear DD2's bed until that is done so that too is a priority.

So my plan for the next 4 weeks is pretty full..

    Decorating bathroom and kitchen
    Tile WC
wrap more stuff than there was at Toy were Us
    Clear the front room
    Clear the landing
    Clear DD2's bed

and here I am, knitting a scarf for a mum at school as a surprise!!
