  • Oh dear.

Fell asleep on the sofa from 5.20pm - 7.15pm.

    Nothing's been done today.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • Hi all,

LW - I echo what others have said; worry and stress can easily make someone lash out at those closest to them. Take care and have some ratty hugs xx

Jojo - sounds like some gentle hugs are needed for you too xx

Hope everyone else is ok - I have read through the thread but head is like a sieve at the moment. Fed up with viral resp infection that won't shift!

I have been following an idea from here and sorting / chucking / recycling / putting away 3 things each time I go in a room. It's a slow process but does make a difference.

Iona - I'm in for the Secret Santa if I'm not too late. Same details as last year - Thank you xx

I have added you to my :xmassmile list, froddy :) Hope you feel better soon x

DH has been working on the railway all day, so I have been able to get on with writing my piece for church tomorrow. No progress with the essay, but I've still got a couple of weeks until the deadline for that!

Rosie was very good and let me work all morning, so I took her out for a really long walk this afternoon, which also blew away some of the cobwebs cluttering up my head.

Our bedlinen has been washed, dried and aired, but I shall need DH's help to re-make the bed before I can fall into it.

Big (((hugs))) to all in need, especially LW and MrLW and JoJo.
Hope your stomach has settled down today, pigpen.

See you all on the new thread x

Been running around mad for days chasing my tail.
Apart from washing I've done hee haw. Have managed to drop a carrier bag full of previous tenants letters back in the post, one of which has be redelivered here this morning. Sort out change of address at everywhere I can think of, pick up a few Christmas things along the way, and take DD to the theatre today.
I have DGS2 here tonight so I'm taking advantage of the pram and I'll walk down to the supermarket in the morning.
I've a settling in visit from the council on Tuesday so I'll do operation gut the house when I get back.

Love and hugs to all xxx

Froddy sending a boot up the rear to stubborn resp infection. Ratty hugs always welcome.

Bathroom and kitchen have been rage cleaned. With the steam cleaner.
You could probably safely eat your dinner off any surface in either room now. :D

Morning all. It sounds like a lot of us are struggling at the moment so hugs and spoons where needed.

This week the LR, downstairs loo and hobby room got attention. Yesterday I hoovered through, not that you'd notice it now.

I have a very long list of things that need to be done. There is no way it is all going to get done today, I will have to prioritise the most important time bound stuff.

Right, time to wash the breakfast dishes and then physio exercises.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all
Hugs to everyone as it sounds like most need one.

Tidied ds1s room and put ironing away
    Washing done and hung out
Fabrics sorted for another project - the wisemen's headdresses, apparently traditional crowns are not authentic so I've sought the advice of Pinterest and come up with a couple of ideas and found a couple of hats to use as bases in the charity shop yesterday when I dropped latest donations off

Valli thank you for the pm I've replied. X

Cleared a load of stuff out of the garage yesterday and found a sealed container for the bird nuts as the mice had discovered them and were making themselves at home in there. I don't mind mice but have no desire to be the winter feeding station for the entire local population of them. No wonder we have so many cats hanging around and pooing in the front garden!

Went out with dd1 last night for a meal and to listen to a local band, they were quite good mostly 60s-80s covers

Plan to get the sewing machine out again later and clear some more fabric from the stash.
