  • I'll use the hhc before work to get all the fabrics sorted out for this afternoons swing session. Hope that counts.

(Hugs)) Dizzy on the passing of Bianca.

Been out since 7.45am on errands, so just back for a couple of hours before I have to get DD after school. WM now running and coffee made before I launch into toilet cleaning. Drum roll please, as this morning we have got big steps closer to getting a bathroom!! My bathroom was gutted well over a year ago and since then everything else has taken precedence. Now I think I might just see the light at the end of a very long tunnel :j

Well I did 45 minutes in the end :j in that time I:

    - washed out the DW filter (grim) and refilled the rinse aid
    - unloaded DW
    - Put washing over heated airer
    - Washed the black bin out
    - Made beds
    - Hoovered upstairs then emptied bagless thing
    - Vacuumed leaves off the drive
    - Took a phone call
    - Put recycling out
    - Mopped the hall floor

Phew! Need to do a couple of bits for DH business now, then will stop for lunch at 12.30 xx WELL DONE LADIES :T:T

Dizzy I am so sorry to hear about Bianca; it's so awful when their time comes to leave us.

The pc has started making really strange noises; Mr LW has been onto M£sh (where we bought it from) and the upshot is the donkey-walloper (as I call the processor :D ) needs to go for repair; so I need to ensure that everything is completely up-to-date and backed up in two places (belt and braces, that's me). There is a lot of personal stuff on there, and Mr LW says we should delete it from the hard drive before they have it (I don't want them having access to all the details of our finances, and stuff like my PIP forms, thank you) and we can reload it from the backup when it's returned.

I also need to get the last of the Yule cards printed out (a special one for Ronnie's family; I found a super photo of him that will just lend itself to having a little Santa hat added, and some holly sprigs - courtesy of the Cr!cut machine).

This also means that Mr LW is going to have to be a bit nicer to me than he's been of late - well, he will if he wants to use the laptop to look at his emails and such like. ;) *evil laugh*

Ensuite and downstairs loo cleaned, floors swept and mopped, ditto the kitchen. Washing hanging up indoors, DD's bedding changed and loaded for the morning's wash. Charity bags moved to right inside the front door so that I can't possibly miss them on the way out later. As I don't want to walk on the wet floors, it is now either a sneaky sit down or another trip to the cupboard of doom for more of the November challenge.
  • LW Hope things get sorted between you and Mr LW, you always sound like such a good team.

Gym then manically busy paid stuff no. 1, then home to run hoover around, tidy here and there and swish a cleaning wipe around. Oh and clean the loos and put a load of washing in. More paid stuff now, suddenly feel very tired.

DS is 19 tomorrow so he is out tonight and we are hosting pre-drinks. Oh joy. I am off with the dog to visit my parents - the dog doesnt like big groups of people in the house, especially when they are slightly drunk/noisy/silly. Not sure whether DH will come with me or whether someone should stay home and supervise!

Work to do next - think I better make a brew and crank the radio up to get myself motivated!

Thank you; I am choosing to think he's being "off" because he's stressing about the thought of having to see the consultant. It's still no excuse for pig-ignorant behaviour though, imho.
We still have no appointment letter, though he was told on the phone that it will be next week; I am now worrying because our neighbours are away for six weeks and the postal service around here regularly puts the mail through the wrong door. We are looking out for the neighbours' offspring coming to check the house, in order to ask them to flip through any post that's arrived to see if there's anything for us - one time a letter for me from DWP sat on their lounge table for three weeks as said offspring didn't check that it was all actually for their parents.

Re DS's pre-drinks; the Cautious Person in me says leave DH at home to supervise. ;)

I've printed out Ronnie & family's Yule card and done the embellishments; I'm really quite pleased with the result! :D

Why is it so impossible to get dyspraxia assessments for children? Today is Wednesday (so I am told) .. Monday saw all 3 of the girls in the schoool medical room having fallen over.. today I had 2 texts about bumped heads, though the one who was hit by a flying ipad might not count, but she fell over on the way home from school too.. We must cost a fortune in sticky plasters and paper towels!

Suppose I should attempt to show willing and go sort food for the beasts.. then they can go to bed :D .. then even better.. I can go to bed! I don't feel like I have slept properly for weeks.
