9 days ago you were seeking an independent person to assist with your issues. Where did you get with this, and why are they not advising you on what to do to sort out your issues?0

You can be cold/wet over winter and learn a lesson that sometimes biting your tongue when you have little/no power is the right thing to do.
The industry in the area is likely to be small and you may now find that previous quotes that you didn't accept are mysteriously increased now that you're in a spot of bother0 -
Hi I just like to know the minimum amount of days notice I can give them.
Yes I had an independent inspection from the city council and they stated it failed on couple of building regulations.
Told the window company about these failures and their response is they wanted more more money to sort out those failures to comply with building regulations.
Feel like I am getting nowhere so just seeking clarification on how many days notice minimum I can give them?0 -

This a weak willed and almost pointless approach. You were told on this forum where to seek help, and this together with an implication to the standard of help you needed. If your only interest is Building Regulations then you are sending a clear message to the window company. That message is you have no interest in any concept of quality, be this surveying, manufacturing or installation. In turn the window company will have pigeon holed you as a complete idiot, who is half hearted, at best, in their approach to issues.
No wonder you are in a mess. You have brought this upon yourself so I leave it to you to find a way out.0
