Hi folks!
It was all over my Facebook that you had disappeared for a while.
I thought that I might come back for a while and see what is going on in the glitching world!:D
Happy birthday to all the people whose birthdays I have missed in my absence and commiserations to all those who have been going through bad times or lost loved ones.
I did see that someone was gloating over the fact that the spam button works!:(
Anyhow, it's good to be back!:)
Lovely to see a familiar friendly face from the folds of the thread...good to have you home squiggle...if only for a while.
I do hope that if the spam button gets used again for the purpose of deleting the thread that the forum towers will take a bit more responsibility in perhaps allowing the thread to be reactivated.

And despite the 2 hour meals and the resultant kitchen clean ups I managed to have a very productive afternoon and I tackled all of the weeks Targetted Tasks in one day :j
Firstly there are 2 tights/socks wicker baskets, all very messy. I upended both, culled any tights marked small, pop socks and other oddities like fishnets ( whatever possessed me)
Then tights, mostly new in packs went back into one basket and under the bed, the other has socks, thick wholly tights and rolled up leggings went into the 2nd basket on the end of the bed in readiness for the forthcoming 8 month winter.
Then I tackled my stash which mostly now lives in deep cupboards between 2 wardrobes in the guest bedroom. I pulled it all out onto the bed - some items like mini shower gels put aside for travel bags and some suitable toiletries for the food bank collection.
So now all the haircare is on one shelf, bath/shower on the next and skin moisturises on the next. The bottom shelf has pant liners and mini tissue packs. That left one entirely empty shelf which might store a very large collection of wet wipes.
Boys toiletries have their own wardrobe shelf
Sunscreens and similar have always lived in an under the bed box.
This is the general family toiletry stash - the very best personal stuff is in my own chest of drawers.
I never really need to buy any toiletries ever again - except for deodarant - only 2 left apart from the odd mitchum roll on.
all tidy now“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Thank you RF for the new thread, I wondered what had happened there for a minute.
I understand your point that you cannot re-instate a thread, but MSE staff are able to if they chose to (as in, it is technically possible?). As it appears to have been done in error/mischief, rather than us being on the MSE naughty step (otherwise we would not be having this new thread :A), you would think it were technically possible to bring us back from the recycle bin.
If all the key information is copied over then all is not lost, though it is a shame that the previous thread is no longer available - I feel sure I made some excellent points that will be lost forever now, you should have read them while you could.
With a bit of teamwork and people deleting their earlier posts (and a quick reappearance of 3Dogs to get into position to move up the rankings), you could engineer the new page one (we could all then re-post our earlier messages after SavvyB and 3Dogs). Or just move on ...

Thanks all for the welcome back!:)
I am not sure how long I will be around, as o/h is going in for a knee replacement in 2 weeks and after the op, he will take a lot of looking after.
From previous experience, he can be a very difficult patient!!:eek:N1LDA:D0 -

The Advent Calendar offer is on in M today but is due to end tomorrow. The Nestle Milkybar calendar is confirmed as working on the APG currently.
The four in M at £1 are: Cadbury Dairy Milk 90g, Galaxy 110g, Maltesers Merryteaser 108g and Nestle Milkybar (as above) 85g. They are all, in fact, showing on m.com although some are showing OOS on there - well, they are not! If the offer in M ends tomorrow as planned, today is supposed to be the last day the price collections should pick them up at £1 so they should cease to work in the last half of this week if the SELs in their Ms generally are changed so that they don't show the offer price anymore (which is most likely to happen if the offer ends).0 -

Oh has been for a checkup today on his throat, consultant really pleased cant see any more growths :j
We were a bit worried as his voice has gone very hoarse this last week, but consultant said he is very phlemy around voice so advised vicks and hot water, in a bowl and he possibly has a cold coming.
So next check up is in the new year.
Fingers crossed this is the end xxxxx0
