And we're in the new home! Thanks Redfox!

Got in a few cheeky shops this afternoon, usual stuff but still working. Tried the Dove set with powerpack but N/A vT as suspected:(

People really ought to be trying the Brut duo set with Luscious Lips (Brut+Lips total 6) against M. Unless they shop in Northern Ireland. That's probably about three other items that have been tried now, against various places, that have been N/A. Somehow I feel the Brut set would be less risky:eek::rotfl:.
  • Well, we have a challenge.

Our 7 year old grandson has announced he wants NASCAR Scalextric for Christmas  He destroys things, I am not going to spend a fortune on a Scalextric set that will last no time at all. Now, if I could find Micro Scalextric NASCAR for around £25 that would not be so bad ...............
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Salad Tomatoes 6 pack have gone back to 50p in M again, although obviously that won't be updated on the APG yet.

Compared at 50p on APG on the 02/11 ;)

Right that's it.....Everything is back in its place.....i'm cream crackered....All this moving around is no good for my back....Thankfully all the furniture is back in place....curtains are up....

Snap. Having been to M through the day, I am now fed up with starting the updating today - it's like doing the whole thing twice! So that's why I shan't be making my changes (and this time they'll be away from here) right away.
All the hard work has been done....Savvy has the lists back....3Dogs list in place.....I think we are just about ready to settle down for the day....Who wants a cuppa....I think one is well deserved....

We even have our lovely bubbles back in place.....How long will it be before she misbehaves...:p:p We wouldn't want it any different...

    Who's got the cake.....

Thanks foxy for finding us a new home....:T:T.... :j:j

Sadly it hasn't:( - I have an OOD list from the middle of October to change to current later. However, the change to the list as it was yesterday (and omitting now expired items) will hopefully be easier because it'll just be a case of copying everything that's not already there and needs to be from the print-out rather than having to check each item individually as that's already been done.

It seems to me quite a few of the items in bold (that were new in mid-October) are the ones that are already off - many of them ended last week so don't try them! The list on here can be used, with caution (I wouldn't try Tvs M as I think a lot of that has changed), as long as you double-check the items against msm/m.com.

The SP items (that are in the OOD M list) are largely intact - but the following tinned products are off vs M and mostly lose money now on vs M: SP Carrots, SP Garden Peas, SP Mushy Peas and SP Sweetcorn. SP Meatballs in Tomato Sauce equivalent went up in M from 40p to 47p. I may as well be updating the list though when I am writing them out like this. SP Peeled Plum Tomatoes in 2s (M 2 for 50p) were added last time but it wasn't clear if that pricing had missed the price collection day or not - they are to be added properly next time and should already continually be vs S at 25p.

There was significant change elsewhere in the list - you need to check m.com to try to see if items are still in date. I'd say m.com rather than msm at this stage as msm is often OOD especially on a price change day like today. I've mentioned the Advent Calendars as they were on the list that, like everything else on the old thread, was deleted and appear to be time-limited. HTH.

Most of the New Covent Garden soups (M doesn't have some) were added last time although they are hopeless £1 vs £1. All the Baker's Selection slab cakes (madeira, ice coffee etc., the whole lot) have gone. There were price increases in the fruit & vegetables area, but still not 10% cheaper and Round Lettuce got added 40p vs 42p. If anyone is desperate on an item they can't find online that is on the expired list or thinks they saw an item on the last list but it isn't on the expired one currently on here, you can try to catch me on here and I'll have a look at my hard copy for you.

I am really not bothered with the expired list myself, although I realise that is all you, unfortunately, have at the moment. My own focus is on the list as it was last night, which I have in hard copy, and getting that to current, which I will do away from here tomorrow. Fortunately I printed the list out last night as I was in M today - although it was supposed to be mainly for use this Wednesday as today was supposed to be to get a general idea of what's happened in M since last time without checking for everything. (The Monday last week was actually very helpful in preparing for the Wednesday and enabled a number of changes to be already marked off, so I thought I'd do the same again this week.) There aren't any further changes on the SP-equivalent items to report from today.

I understand your point that you cannot re-instate a thread, but MSE staff are able to if they chose to (as in, it is technically possible?).

Can I just explain about the reason behind this - once a thread has been deleted it has to stay that way. BGs must never undelete and, whilst it is of course technically possible to do so, even MSE must not undelete.

That is because if it is resurrected it is deemed that MSE has published it, and everything in it, and are consequently legally liable for everything said within it which could lead to all sorts of legal problems.

Although the posts you make are published on the MSE forum, technically you are the publisher of the posts you make - MSE are just providing the platform and therefore MSE is not directly responsible for the content at that stage.

However undeleting a thread and putting the content back onto the forum means that MSE is then the publisher and would be legally liable for any of the content.

    I hope I've explained that ok :o
