Thank you again for all your help, I think everyone knows that if it wasn't for you we would not be here anyway xx
Sal, we are here for you, if you want to moan and groan come here, it is really good to have somewhere anonymous to moan, I know it helped me a lot when my OH was having his ankle problem. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Thanks for the welcome back , I don't want to dwell on my absent very sad time 2 close friends where poorly and we sadly lost them within a week of each other, one made me question wether I have made the right choices with ds1 been a hard time with lots of sole searching. Ds3 has also been pretty poorly morphine is now his pain killer of choice

Can I just explain about the reason behind this - once a thread has been deleted it has to stay that way. BGs must never undelete and, whilst it is of course technically possible to do so, even MSE must not undelete.
That is because if it is resurrected it is deemed that MSE has published it, and everything in it, and are consequently legally liable for everything said within it which could lead to all sorts of legal problems.
Although the posts you make are published on the MSE forum, technically you are the publisher of the posts you make - MSE are just providing the platform and therefore MSE is not directly responsible for the content at that stage.
However undeleting a thread and putting the content back onto the forum means that MSE is then the publisher and would be legally liable for any of the content.
I hope I've explained that ok
Thank you so much for this explanation - you learn something new everyday and I think this is top of the list for today.
A genuine thank you - I am sure this has all sorts of implications which many would not have thought about. So us quoting someone else could also technically be republishing .

Evening all.
Not logged in for ages but do have a look in now and again.
Had a shock this morning when thread was gone.
I am not too well
Housebound but am getting 24 HR care.
Good news is I now have 1\4 inch of hair.
I see bubba is a year older.Happy birthday
poor love - not going out, well its quite chilly now and inbetween the rain the sun has no heat so outside is very much a mixed blessing, best to say warm and cosy outside.
Are you temped to try some jazzy hair colours now its just started to grow
24 hour care must be tiring but are you getting any real sleep inbetween times - the clock change always does for me, still feel steam rollered and its been 2 weeks already“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
