  • I know where you are coming from LEJC!

With my first engagement I was well smitten, he was in the RAF, but I had known my current OH before this. I will always remember, I was working in Waitrose on a Saturday and I saw my current OH over the road, and my heart went bumpety bum! So I broke up with my then fianc!e 6 weeks before the we were due to marry, and waited.

A little while later I managed to bump into current OH at the con club, he asked me to his birthday party and we went on from that :D

And then my daughter got engaged at the age of 18, broke up with that chap a couple of years later, and is now very happy with her current fianc!.

Oh has been for a checkup today on his throat, consultant really pleased cant see any more growths :j

We were a bit worried as his voice has gone very hoarse this last week, but consultant said he is very phlemy around voice so advised vicks and hot water, in a bowl and he possibly has a cold coming.

So next check up is in the new year.

Fingers crossed this is the end xxxxx

  • “On the day of the collections, stores with Trussell Trust food banks will weigh all the food collected, calculate a total value (at £1.68/kg), of which 20% will be given by Tesco to the Trussell Trust.”
I have spoken to my local foodbank and they do weigh what tesco deliver and they do get a cheque from !!!!!! per delivery
PS They love toiletry donations too, so maybe some 23p poo would be loved

    !!!!!! shop
    2 x manderins 600g
    2 x tuna fillers 200g cost -40p 800g
    Sada shop v T
    UHT Milk 54p v 54p PAG 5p Net 49p 500g
    Cornflakes 45p v 40p PAG 9p Net 36p 500g
    Tinned potatoes 34p v 35p PAG 2p Net 32p 570g
    Tinned carrots 20p v 20p 2p Net 19p 300g
    Tinned custard 25p v 25p 2p net 23p 380g
    SP ready salted 12pk 66p v 66p 6p net 60p 200g
    2 litre SP sugar free coke17p v 17p 2p net 15p 2000g
    2 litre SP “” lemonade 17p v 17p 2p net 15p 2000g
    PAG 30p net £2.49 6450g

    Grand total net £2.09 7250g

    7.250kg x 33.6p = !!!!!! donation to Foodbank £2.43 in CASH

So in a Gift shop, get the gift sets v T and 8 foodbank fillers £2.39 cost and PAG 30p

Probably a day worth of food with snacks costing us £2.09 on top of a shop for GiftSets
And Foodbank get cash value £2.43 for fuel etc. Better than bananananana, onions etc.

Also looks like a "Normal" shop on receipt.

Will try a shop tomorrow and post the PAG results.
