I thought about you earlier Seren when I made an emergency visit to the co op:D

Unsure if I mentioned but I’ve been saving £2 coins all year and this has bought our Christmas meat and other luxuries:)
I just needed to buy the sausages and streaky bacon today and headed towards T....until I saw the traffic. I then turned around and popped to the co op.

Got what I wanted and out popped a £1 off wys £5:D

Yup...think I’m just about finished with the shops.

I only need cream and fresh bread but can get that locally

The little shops like the Co op will be much more pleasant this weekend than fighting the crowds elsewhere. My Co op has been over-stocking the Xmas bits and pieces for a few weeks now, then putting them rtc but not reducing them by much. Maybe I'll get lucky. :)

I've been very happy with my 11p Welsh bakery loaves from McColl. They're buying far too much in as well. :D

    Evening peeps.
Hope you've all had a good day. Every supermarket in town was rammed today. Muggles with trolleys piled high milling through the store with seemingly no plan nor purpose. In A there was not a single trolley in the carpark - all in use in store. I found only one womble, totalling £136, which yielded a massive 26p. I say again....muggles.

3 dogs we must know each other. Did you go to the school up the black path?

And my grandad worked down the pit.
I remember going down the burn and swinging from the 5 arches

Up the black path doesn't ring any bells with me, so you have me puzzled CB. Went to Ca***lle till about 8 or 9, then moved to Holy X so switched to St P on top of bank for two years, then WGS

B&H scanned at £8 just in little A. Which is a pain cause I bought 2 with the £10 Nivea set for mothers day!

    Results later.....

    My B&H went through as normal at 9.52 pm, £10 v £3.75

Good morning. have a C&C for 8am, so will set off early as expect a queue. My table is set, house needs a quick dust - OH hoovered last night whilst I baked more mince pies for family hampers. Have Xmas shortbread biscuits to bake today & 3 cakes to ice and a few pressies to wrap then done until tomorrow. May watch a few Xmas films.
Hope you all have a good day & good luck with woopsies. Wonder what they will be like tomorrow. Cannot remember a Xmas Eve on a Sunday before.

    Morning all

My shopping is all done :j I need only to venture out for bread tomorrow

Sprouts are picked and prepped. Parsnips and carrots being dug up today :j

I get my meat from a small independent butcher locally who delivers and that's being delivered today at some point and then that's everything done except the housework which will be done while I'm waiting for the meat man :D
