Oh JTS, I was born in Wallsend, the terraced houses/flats running down to Swan Hunters. Mr 3Dogs was born in North Shields, on the Marden Estate. Whitley Bay has changed so much :( Used to play darts at Rising Sun Pub, lived round the corner in early 70's. Used to go to the Rising Sun Club for fairs, whippet racing. 1969 parents moved to Battle Hill and I used to walk my dog in late 70's on the nature reserve on what used to be Rising Sun Colliery

We should have guessed that there was Geordie in there, with that sense of humour ;) :rotfl:

Oh JTS, Altojack is from Wallsend too, and Clipstrip Bargains??

3 dogs we must know each other. Did you go to the school up the black path?

And my grandad worked down the pit.
I remember going down the burn and swinging from the 5 arches

It’s a guess where we are moment. One very happy 5 year old.

Oh and I appear to have lost Bear!

He has got himself an invite to go with dgd to Lapland Uk tomorrow. It’s infectious as was dd who asked if he could come as she imagines there will be quite a few photo opportunities for small beats dressed as Elves. So he has gone for a sleepover and I have just enjoyed a bed picnic.

  • Evening All,

Sorry been MIA today... Been to A, Shopping centre and then B&M, then T, then another T.

Crazy evening but some good things to report.

River Island sale in the store is still good... Got £45 shoes for £3 and around 6 jewellery items between £0.10 and £0.75 each down from £8 - £10 each. They also had hats, scarfs, sunglasses and random gift assortments for under £1

B&M Christmas decs now down to £0.10...

T is now reducing Christmas clothing. Got two mens t-shirts one star wars xmas for £3 down from £10 and one snowman one down from £7 to £2.

If you have a Gamer in the family GAME are also doing 50% off clothing (inc additionally marked down stuff) there are some lovely little bits. I got myself a PlayStation t-shirt for £5.

Now, for a Christmas film. Speak tomorrow and have a good evening :-)
