Allotment today/tomorrow to pick the sprouts, carrots and parsnips. Isn't is lovely when they are 'just there'? xx

    Good morning everyone.
  • Good morning all, what a grey day.

The bedding is still out from last night, shall check it around lunch time, should be dry by then as it is blowing just about enough out there :D

Unless there is something really extreme I am going nowhere near town today, I could be forced to go to T's but that's only because I could just turn round and walk back home if it is too bad.

I couldn't believe what I saw with people's trollies last night. There were folks with multiple trollies

The shops are closed for one day. All I've bought extra of is milk

If I get time today I'd like to bake some mince pies but it's not the end of the world if I don't get round to it :)

    Good morning all....

I saw much the same yesterday....and I didn't even bother with the extra milk...but I may venture out on foot today for a loaf of bread and a packet of prawns.

mince pies ...I have the mincemeat but not the enthusiasm so it will stay in the fridge I think ready for another day.

I'm probably going to be the first to sign off for Christmas....so I wanted to wish everyone a very merry, peaceful time that treats you as you wish to be treated....

Much love to you all my elite friends xxx

I haven't even got to buy that extra, the milk I buy today will last 'til Tuesday, the only extra I have bought is things like pate, I certainly do not stock up for the next year, I seriously have trouble not giggling when I see what some people are buying, I still remember most shops being closed on a Sunday, can you imagine their reaction if that came round again :rotfl::rotfl:
