Does anyone know if supermarkets reduce any meat joints (if any left)... or when?

Not desperate as we're having free M&S chicken & pigs in blankets, but wouldn't mind a small ham.

  • Morning, Has anyone looked in Marks to see if they have reduced toilet roll? just remembered getting some last year, if I remember right 12 rolls for £2 think it was reduced to £1 plus 3 for 2
  • Forgot to mention that I got a £3.50 meal deal from Marks and Spencer's using my £3 from Android. And I also got one of the free bottles of Coke so I managed to get sandwich two bottles of Coke and a Packet of Crisps all for a net layout of 50p. That's lunch sorted for a few weeks.

Wow. I dictated this to my phone, quick and only a few mistakes AND atrocious grammar lol.

Seren, thank you so much. And please thank DD.

    Morning everyone.

She just messaged me this morning to say she has banged in a complaint for every card I have ever had.

Then they each have 8 weeks to reply with whether there actually was any or not, and we go from there.

She's having a look at my old mortgages next.:)

I have an inbox of messages from something called Resolver.

    Good luck. x

    Oh no:eek:

Oh elliechoons...that brings back memories of when mine were young and we always seemed to be waiting until the last minute for either Tracy Island Thunderboard stuff or the latest PlayStation. Fortunately everything always arrived on time and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you today
There will be Sunday deliveries too xxxx

I have looked back in my emails and I got an email saying my statement was ready earlier in the month, and then an email today saying my payment was 3 days overdue.

All settings in the account area were set to no reminders - I haven’t touched them, hence my warning as they seem to be set to no by default, which is the opposite to what you may expect (who wouldn’t want reminding?!).

Looking at the T&Cs it says:

“£12 is payable each time you do not pay your Payment Due by the date that your next month's statement is issued, provided your Payment Due is at least £12.“

Does that mean I will not be hit with any late charges as my next statement is not due until 7/1...? Possibly a stupid question, my worry is always my credit file.

    Many thanks

The majority of cards operate to a two strikes and then you're out eg. £12 will be refunded, late payment not reported, introductory offer re-instated which you will have automatically lost.
Do it again and they won't be so accommodating. Good leverage to getting back on side and the £12 refunded is to set up the DD in the same call which shows it won't happen again.

Thank you - I logged in, paid the full balance by card (not just the statement balance) and set up the DD too. My reading is there should not be the penalty as the new statement is not due for a few more weeks, but will have to see what appears and then will fall on their mercy.

Not actually from Skipton but a frequent visitor. Always found it such a lovely peaceful and friendly town! Seems the 'random' aspect may be in question as the Daily Fail are saying the suspect is an ex of the poor woman's mother. Horrific thing to happen at this time of year, (or anytime really!).

Daily Fail...yet you read it and propagate it......hmmmm

    Awful story nonetheless.

Morning all, been busy worwise for a while, so not been about.
Went to SADA last night 10:30pm still busy and place looked like a tornado had been through it LOL. Mine shut Xmas eve 7:00pm and opens boxing day 10:00am. 39 hours, yet I bet it will be absolute chaos with muggles xmas eve at 6:00pm.

I managed to get some dove lady bags and Lynx lady bags, all still compared. When I was leaving I noticed a whole aisle end full of B&H, wonder where I am going tonight LOL.

Cannot wait until about 3rd January when all this madness settles down.A wee hope that 3 4 2 will still be here, but on other items.
Hmmmmm Valentines day in FEBRUARY, Mother's Day in MARCH, Father's Day in JUNE, Oh, Easter sometime too....

Easter end of March - beginning of April

Wedding of the year 8th April. Aka DS1's wedding

    Awful story nonetheless.

A close friend who lives in skipton and knew the young lady, rang me the day this happened as she works very close by. She told me that day it was the ex of her mother. Absolutely shocking.

Yesterday a work colleague messaged me as we were talking about at work, that her friends dad was the person who wrapped the suspect in cling film.

And yet again in a close town where we live another young lad, aged 20 stabbed during a night out. What is this cruel world coming too.:(
