    I'm still waiting on 3 online deliveries, amazon JD and book people, the Santa piles will be much reduced if they don't arrive, so fingers crossed.

    I couldn't believe what I saw with people's trollies last night. There were folks with multiple trollies :eek:

    The shops are closed for one day. All I've bought extra of is milk

    If I get time today I'd like to bake some mince pies but it's not the end of the world if I don't get round to it :)

    I’m doing this for the big day:)

    Mary Berry made it the other night on her Christmas programme.

    I bought the fake baileys from Aldi for £3.75:)
    And it tastes just the same:)

    Oh no:eek:

    Oh elliechoons...that brings back memories of when mine were young and we always seemed to be waiting until the last minute for either Tracy Island Thunderboard stuff or the latest PlayStation. Fortunately everything always arrived on time and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you today

    Morning all

    My shopping is all done :j I need only to venture out for bread tomorrow

    Sprouts are picked and prepped. Parsnips and carrots being dug up today :j

    I get my meat from a small independent butcher locally who delivers and that's being delivered today at some point and then that's everything done except the housework which will be done while I'm waiting for the meat man :D

    Does MG know about this?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Happy Christmas, DD. x

    That looks yummy :D my dessert is the same as it is every year. Trifle with blancmange instead of custard. Takes me three days to make it but it's what my lovely nan used to do and we've carried it on :)
