Much the same thing here. I applied for reflexology or 2nd choice manicure and got - a day out. Very poor selection and most of these already have offers of buy one get one free on certain days.

Think it was a complete waste of time even applying.
  • The scheme is a complete joke. I applied online for a back massage and got a gym pass for a conference centre 38 miles away. That`s a 76 mile round trip! As I live in Greater London I thought there`d be lots of places participating but obviously not. The offer is complete misrepresentation.
I sent the voucher back to Nectar and told them to shred it and turn it into compost which will enable it to be a fat lot more good than it was to me!
I think anyone not satisfied should do the same. The address is -
    Nectar, PO Box 1830, Andover, SP10 5ZQ

They STILL have not bothered to even offer me a useless voucher... makes me feel really special, they seem to have upset just about everybody else in the scheme!
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • Has anyone got what they wanted? I sent a complaint as well as got a day out instead of beauty treatment.
  • I was also sent a Nectar Treat of a day out (on my own to some dismal animal farm for three year olds!). I had asked for a pedicure. So I telephoned the helpline, and spoke to an operator who told me that the treats are 'renewed' each week, and they only have a certain amount to give out, so by the end of the week there are none left of popular treats. She told me to phone on Saturday morning (the start of the new week) and sure enough I was re-issued a pedicure with absolutely no fuss at all.
  • This is an impressive own-goal. What was meant to encourage and reward loyalty seems to have succeeded in doing the opposite.

Within hours of receiving the invitation to apply for my "treat", I applied, listing a first and a second choice. The voucher I received was for something completely different, and for something I do not want.

At first I thought it was a "technical problem", but a chat with their online help, and an email to and from their help address revealed that this was not a technical problem. Yes, the same platitudes about being "popular"

Well done to the lucky people who received a useful voucher.

Also well done to the people behind this "treat me" offer - they have achieved something fairly difficult: they have turned many people sour on Nectar! Until this week I held Nectar in high regard. Not any more
