Nectar "Treats"

I had exactly the same thing happen to me.
I really don't think loyalty cards are of much value to the customer. They are there for the benefite of the supermarkets to track our purchases. If we all stopped using them, they'd have to think of another method of keeping track of what we buy0

i havent even had a voucher yet - let alone a free massage voucher! It must have been a good 4-6 weeks ago now that i called them up.0

After reading all the posts I didn't hold out much hope for getting the treat I wanted ( Kite Surfing ).
But ... I applied for it, and received an email about 3 minutes later with my voucher for a free Kite Surfing session !!
All I need to do is phone up one of the participating venues to book a slot any time between now and August 2008, and turn up with a printout of my voucher and nectar card.
So ... I've got no complaints whatsoever ....
I suspect Nectar have re-vamped their website, as you no longer get a 2nd choice ... and you're informed you'll have have your voucher emailed to you within 24 hours ( or 3 mins in my case ! )0

I applied this weekend and there was a first and second choice option - I went for beauty treats and like everyone else I got a day out - only one venue in my county.
What address are you sending your letters of complaint to.
I know it is free but I am really miffed about this. What a waste of money they send everyone a booklet of all the offers and in fact there is no choice.
My husband got a gym pass but the gym it is for is too far away for him to use the pass - he had applied for clay pigeon shooting or a golf lesson.
Martin, how about a letter from you to Nectar - pointing out that this has back fired for Nectar - they would have been better off not offering anything than angering so many.0

I got my treat but applied as soon as my new Nectar card came through and got the voucher via email for a facial.
I've just checked and I got the email from them on 16th September, so I got in there very very early, and got the gift I wanted.
Isn't there something on the site saying something along the lines off 'until stock lasts' ??0

I applied like most people as soon as I got my new card and before it appeared in MSE. Asked for family portrait or a day out. They offered me a free entry to a Gym. Absolutely a waste of time as I go to the gym every day and the one they offered me was miles away.
Replied to say the offer was a waste of time and will be making a formal complaint, if I can ever find out where to send it.
Like others last time I will be using there card.

I got the free day out thing and tried to use it on Sunday and they wouldn't even accept it. They said I could take a child free when buying an adult ticket. If anyone is planning on going to Stapeley Water Gardens, they don't even know anything about it...I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

The same story here - except I got a gym pass! I've had an email saying they are sorry but this offer has been popular! What a surprise! It seems to me that they have had a lot of publicity but there is nothing to back it up.0

I also forgot about my treat. I went for the beauty treatment as well as a first then reflexology as a second. So far have heard nothing, nor recieved my new card.
But my points are going through the roof, dont know why my bonus points have been doubled, not complaining, be able to fill my freezer with them.0

Not sure what has been going on with Nectar treats, I like many others recieved a day out even though i had asked for reflexology or indian head massage. Called and asked to change told i would get voucher in 5 days nothing happened this was about 4 weeks ago. Called again to be told the only vouchers they had were paint balling or a day out but i could call back in jan to see if they had any others. So like many others i wrote saying what a con.
Well today i have come to a voucher for reflexology so i think complaint letter was the right way to go.:j :j :j :j0
