After a very stressful week wi with half on :(
2 day exclusion then morning meeting with parents, this was very unpleasant. I really don’t like being in these meetings :(

Anyway! Hubbys last day in present job tomorrow then he has a week off before starting new job. Begins with 2 weeks in London though so not looking forward to that. Don’t need the extra stress so anxiety will be really high :(

Have a good weekend all :A

    Evening all

Congratulations to the losers, commiserations to the gainers.

WI today showed a sts .

In fairness to my class leader, she realised that there was something up & we had a long chat. Still don’t feel 100% about it but I’m better than I was.

I’ve even enquired about a having a couple of 1:1 sessions with the trainers at the gym - I need someone to tell me what to do rather than just play (figuratively!) about on the machines. I’m going for the consultation on Monday though, as we’re going on holiday in less than 3 weeks it might be better to wait for the 1:1 afterwards. I don’t know - perhaps I’ll make a decision after Monday.

I did buy my waterproof headphones yesterday - had 20% off & for the first time ever bought a dress that I know I will need to be at target for .....I have a ladies night in May to attend & the dress would knock them dead so that’s my aim.

I will get over this rut.....once I can rev the engine hard enough to take a run at hit!

Not too sure really, don’t think anyone knows! Asking for more advice from ‘experts’ plus education psychologist. Think the end result will be we aren’t/can’t meeting his needs and something needs to be done before someone gets seriously hurt!
Just taking it a day at a time :(

I don't know the background to this Tie apologies but one of the reasons my year was so trying was because my DD, who has autism and learning difficulties ended up being permanently excluded from her special school because they couldn't meet her needs. At the time it felt like the end of the world. Six months on however life is so much better. The LEA had to find her a more suitable provision and she is happier and more settled there. She still has issues but they are being dealt with a lot better. In our case at least it took us getting to crisis point for the LA to give us the assistance we had so badly needed for years. x
  • lovely few days; Friday was out for tea with a good friend. food was perfect....two cocktails though!

yesterday was hit and miss as I took Lillie to the cinema but smuggled in my own drink etc. did partake in a few of her bits and we shared a toastie in the afternoon. and half a korma in the evening. I have always generally flexed on a Saturday though!

back to it today. breakfast I wasn't feeling too hungry so I had a syn free Danone light and free yogurt. still not very hungry but think I might have an orange

was going to do the shopping tomorrow after my beauty apt but I think I may take littlie today to Tesco as the meat arrives tomorrow :)

need to get on top of breakfasts and lunches. I'm off this week so much easier but I want to plan something simple for every day at work the following week as the week after we're at butlins (buffet restaurants!) then a week at home then another week off for Christmas!

I'm thinking; eggs, spinach and ham for brekkies and jackets with salad and either tuna or hm coronation chicken for lunches or hm soup.

need to start providing packed lunches for little one as we've changed her minder but they will be super easy - half sandwich, cucumber sticks, chopped fruit and a yogurt is what I'm thinking! Or when we have lasagne/cottage pie/etc I'm going to box her up a small portion then send veg sticks and a yogurt too :) and OH has the same breakfasts (bars) and lunches (ham and cheese sandwich, 2 slices malt loaf, crisps and a biscuit - he's just like a kid at school too!)

Meat delivery gives lots of flexible evening meal options so I will go and get the basics which will give me mix and match choices :)

  • Hello all, had a busy couple of weeks with gran in and out of hospital and just general family annoyances, plus starting new job, and I've been off the wagon a bit.

However, I SOMEHOW had a loss this week so my challenge target is actually back in sight and I'm ready to give it a push to be below 13st by 2018!

Kathryn, please can you update the table as follows for me?

    Week 1 = 1.5lb loss
    Week 2 = 1lb gain
    Week 3 = 1.5lb gain
    Week 4 = 3lb loss

so I should be at a 2lb loss for the challenge overall so far. Thanks!

The batch cooking I did last month has been a boon for after work but I'm getting a bit fed up of having to prepare SW friendly lunches, rather than just boshing together a cheese sandwich and a packet of crisps. I have access to a microwave so I need to make some soups up I think, just need to make a bit of room in the freezer first!

Erm I'm a bit off plan today (bought a lush looking spinach and feta pie from Aldi yesterday!), but I'm going to do a crustless quiche for Mon and Tue lunches and start the week right.

Hello to all! Hope everyone's doing well! x

Quick post from me because I'm going out dancing soon. There'll be a buffet tea but I'm hoping by eating before I go and having dinner when I get back I can limit myself to nibbling on a veg stick!:D

My contribution to the buffet is melon chunks.:)

    Will report back later.:)
