    Evening all
    Thanks for the encouragement :)
Pleased to report the dam thing has gone! Submitted at 9.30. I spent three hours in the library but still hadn’t finished it  Thankfully there was just a couple more references to record and put them in the right order then just a bit of final editing. My reference list for the OU was only ever about half a page- this one stretched to a page and a half- of mostly online references which I can tell you is my idea of hell as each and every one has to be copied out manually- and some of those blinking links are long! I was eating my tea with one hand and typing with the other :rotfl: I submitted and then went into the kitchen and spent the next half an hour making pigs in blankets for tomorrow’s group Christmas taster!
To say I’m shattered is understatement of the century :D
    Today’s food:
B: Bacon medallions, 3 x Asda Light and Lean sausages (1.5 syns) mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomatoes. Decaf coffee with HEXA
L: Ham salad, Quavers (4.5 syns) HEXB 2 x Alpen Light, Decaf coffee with HEXA, water
T: Sweet Chilli Chicken (1.5) salad, decaf tea with HEXA
Syns: 11.5 (including the two advent calendar chocs)
    Night all xx

If you are at target how many weeks can you go without weighing?
    Thanks.

There isn't really a limit as you can WI whenever you want. As you probably know I was supposed to be away for 13 weeks and I wouldn't have lose online access as my consultant was happy to record me as "Notified Absence". If you are out of target when you get weighed you don't get your week's grace (at least I didn't).

However you will lose online access to LifelineOnline after 8 weeks of not getting weighed if you haven't made a prior arrangement with your consultant.

  • Goodness, I haven’t stopped all day. Brain still whirring so no point in trying to sleep yet. May as well catch up on how everyone is doing.

Three stone SSM that’s amazing :j Well done you :T:T:T:T you asked what motivates me.... I think I got fed up of feeling rubbish and sluggish and not fitting into anything I wanted to wear. I would open my wardrobe, see lots of nice things that I used to wear but not be able to get them on. Not even close!

No underwear in the garden for me :rotfl: I’m completely overlooked!!

ESMY, I got my mirror half price from House of Fraser. It’s a leaning mirror too, it’s the Linea Florence if you want a look. It’s about 160cm in height. There was a bigger one, but it was 190 cm and it’s not a big room. Plus I’m not that tall!

How’s your boy cat BEANIE? I hope he’s on the mend. It’s horrible when pets are poorly, I hate it when my dogs get distressed when they are ill. My particularly daft dog ate acorns in October and got really poorly. He’s fine now but I spent a fortnight worrying myself sick about him. Bless him, he is a daft !!!!!!.

Don’t stress too much TWEETS, cuddle that lovely sounding Poppy dog. There is so much fuss over Christmas, some in a good way but for others, bad.

WI tonight ladies. I so want that 1 stone award. Taking some HM salsa for taster.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Well done on all the losses. Some big ones in the spreadsheet, especially for so close to Christmas.

I am all partied out now. Feeling the need for speed food and sleep.
Thankfully only a day and a half left to work this year.

At the hospital this afternoon for another scan and to see the consultant. Desperately hoping for some good news this time.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - porridge and fruit
Lunch/snacks - generally don't feel like it with the stuff they inject in to me for the scan
Dinner - beef stew that's already in the slow cooker
    Zebras rock
  • Good luck VALM for your WI, I hope you get that stone tonight.

Best of luck for the hospital today KATHRYN. Good that you have a warming dinner already made to come home to. Hopefully you will feel able to eat it.

My sister is of the ‘sod it, it’s Christmas’ mindset and brought me a tin of quality street plus some other goodies last night. I did have a couple but overall I’m resisting and think that I can still do my body some good by being on plan and then relaxing to enjoy what I want next week. If I let things slip now, I could prob put on half a stone before Christmas. Bloomin weight goes on so easy!

    Keep plodding everyone x

    Good morning everyone.

Good luck with WI tonight VALM. Hopefully you'll get that 1 stone award tonight.

Hope the hospital visit produces some good news for you Kathryn. Enjoy your beef stew tonight. Absolutely love a stew and so easy to make it on plan.

Well done MSM on only having a couple of Quality Street. It can sometimes be the start of a slippery slope.

Today's plan is for a Green day:

    B - almond baked oats; pineapple, quark (HEB1 + 1.5)
    L - cauliflower cheese; chips (HEA1/HEB2)
    D - Veggie curry/rice

    HEA1 & 2 - milk
    HEB1 - porridge
    HEB2 - cheese
    Syns - 5g flaked almonds 1.5

Need to keep syns low again as went over yesterday and am out to dinner tomorrow night at my sisters. Not sure what she's making but she was talking about doing something like a lasagne probably so definitely loads of syns as she doesn't "get" SW! There will probably be wine syns too.

Just glad I don't need to weigh again until after my holiday in January when of course I'll probably have to pay!

I hope it goes well at the hospital today kathrynha :)

    -1½ for me today.

Hoping that I can stick to plan until next Monday's WI, then relax it for Christmas day and Boxing day, and still have time to pull it back for the last WI :rotfl:

Slightly jealous of the target members that don't need to weigh in over Christmas :)

    Well done on the loss.

Unfortunately the timing of my weigh in's is not so good.
Tomorrows is after 6 parties in a week. And next weeks is just after Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
I think I might be finishing this challenge with a gain :o

Thankfully I don't really do new year, so by the weigh in on the 2nd January I might have a slight lose to start the next challenge with

Kathryn - I know what you mean. I always thought that when I first started SW; and yes it is brilliant not to have to weigh every week. You'll get there, as will everyone who sticks to plan as best they can but life gets in the way for all of us at times.

I've had to stop weighing at times because I get too focussed on the numbers on the scales which isn't good, particularly when you get to target. A person who has never needed to diet doesn't keep jumping on the scales to see how much they've put on or lost this week - I certainly didn't when I was younger and didn't have a weight problem.
