    Morning all
    very pleased to report
-4lb for me this week! Hope the scales are still working OK ...

That takes me to within 1lb of losing two stones, which is my aim for the end of the year.

Some of it may go back on this evening as I'm having a chinese takeaway (it'll be a set dinner so not really much options to go for low syn stuff) but I've got a week to recover it before my next WI.

  • Hi everyone. Just got back home after out New York trip. It was amazing! Food was delicious(especially the cheesecake) but the only speed was salad garnish and strawberries on my cheesecake.
Good job I'm not weighing in until Friday as my scales say I've gained 3 1/2Lb but I know some will be water retention as my ankles are swollen and I can't get my rings off.
Off to do my food shop just now so I'll pop back later.

That's an amazing loss poohsticks. Well done you!:T Some Chinese food isn't too bad but you've got plenty of time to pull it back before the end of the year.

:rotfl: Glad you had a good time midge. Hopefully any gain will disappear soon.

Sending you a big hug tie.:A Not long to the end of term. Has your DH finished his training?

I'm out at Christmas Ball tonight. This is the last of my parties/dances before Christmas Eve. It's a sit down meal rather than a buffet but generally there will be cold meats and salads. As I'll be driving and saving wine syns:D I might have some coleslaw type bits or quiche but unless there's fresh fruit or cheese I'll skip the puddings as I'm not a fan.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: JP with cottage cheese and pickled cabbage
    D: tbc
Syns: extra porage 6, syrup 2, plus ???

Kept the syns low yesterday. Didn't drink at all, just diet tonic with ice & lemon:A:A.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon & mushroom sandwich - HEB + 2 for spread & brown sauce
L - puy lentils, roasted butternut squash, roasted sweet potato & tomatoes; 20g goats cheese (3 syns). New recipe for me but probably won't bother again - it was nice but not outstanding and quite time consuming
D - HM faggots in onion gravy; mash & cabbage

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - goats cheese 3; gin x 2 6

    Gradually pulling the syns back!

Funnily enough DH thought that as well:rotfl:

  • Hello all,

It’s - 1 for me this week. A loss at last!

Well done ESMY on your three stone loss :j:j:j

Everyone is doing so well. I feel like I’ve let the team done this challenge as I’ve lost precisely nothing so far, quite the opposite in that I’ve gained a pound. Hopefully that will be gone by next week if I’m super good.

Must try really hard this week x
