    That’s great, MissT and dusty.
    Fantastic, bubbs!

maman, I’d rather our team was inconsistent than consistently incompetent! Enjoy what you have 😉 Rub it in, why don’t you, tweets ☹ And I thought you were a nice person too!

Today we have had sleet, snow, rain and clear spells with temperatures rising and falling above and below zero. As a result the roads are now covered in layers of rutted ice, not even slush. Turning corners was an adventure, to say the least, when I went out to get grandson this afternoon. Our small village doesn’t get gritted; usually bins of grit are delivered so we can do it ourselves but there are none this time. It’s not even on a through road; you have to be coming here to use the road into the village, so we don’t get the benefit of passing traffic to clear the road a bit.

I don’t understand the mashed banana thing. Surely chewing the banana is just the same as mashing it with a fork? I don’t think chewing one/part of one banana would use up many calories or make much difference to digestion.

    Good Morning :hello:

Fed up with this weather now snow and ice GO AWAY and stay away.

Struggled mums last weekend in snow ice etc.

Our Poppy then didn't get a proper walk til yesterday when it was slush so she got her normal long walks :)

Today it looks very slippy again so don't think she will get proper walk yet again.

Well done on all the losses hope I am joining you on Sunday :)

    Morning everyone.

Very icy here but the sun's out so it should be better underfoot. Some in the local paper are grumbling as usual - we live in a big city with decent public transport and it's very rare that we have days when you couldn't get out. Take care those in snowier climes.

1lb off for me this week. A bit surprised but I'll take it! I shall award myself a 3 st shiny today as I don't go to group. At the end of this challenge it will be a year since I started SW and I've got 2lb to go to target - I might just make it.

Well done Bubbs on your 41/2 stone shiny and great losses Missteach and Dusty.Have a lovely holiday Gettingtheresometime.

Massive congratulations on your 4.5 stone Bubbs. And we'll done on your loss and shiny too esmy.

Last night's party was good but I had soooooo many syns.

Today also won't be a good day. Currently at the hospital getting drugs and blood and out at a party when I escape here.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - wasn't hungry
Hospital - trying to avoid food. Had a few grapes
Party - buffet. Hoping there will be carrot and cucumber sticks.
    Dinner - not sure.

I know it's a bad day food wise, but it is what it is and I ain't feeling great due to drugs and too much partying

Congratulations on your 3 stone award. You've done really well and what a motivation to get to target before the end of the year. Go for it!

    well done bubbs and esme.

Thanks for the recipe maman, sounds good ! There were actually four leeks in the pack and I only used two so I'll have a chance to try it next week.

What I did turned out ok - I just chopped peppers, leeks and mushrooms with diced chicken breast, a vegetable stock cube a little bit of water and some passata in a casserole and cooked it slowly in the oven. There's enough left over for OH's tea today - as you say, it's a sort of 'big soup' left !

I'm still in a 'using up and clearing out stuff' sort of mood, especially as we're away for the weekend. In that vein I've just eaten a pack of LIDL cheese and onion potato skins from the freezer for lunch - does anyone have any idea how many syns ?

    Details are here
    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/partytime-lidl-cheese-and-onion-potato-skins-5009327

As they had cheese on them (I couldn't taste the onion) I'll forgo my normal HEA cheese ration so hope they won't be too bad.

I've also got a fat free yoghurt to eat, and tea will be an omelette to use up the eggs with my two small slices of HEB wholemeal bread and a load of salad that needs using.

And still have plenty of clementines and might have the usual kitkat if feel like it.

Tomorrow after I've had my weekly weigh we'll go for a Toby breakfast (wholemeal toast, baked beans, mushrooms and the leanest bacon I can find) before heading off down south to parents. I know it'll be chinese takeaway tomorrow evening and a roast chicken dinner on Sunday so fingers crossed it won't be too bad syn wise, although I might have a glass of beer with it (a rare treat for me!)

There's also a cake currently cooking in the breadmaker for me to take down so will try to resist sampling that !

Well done Bubbs and Esmy on your new shineys!

As you say Maman perfect timing to get back into target range - I am so pleased I don't need to worry too much over Christmas, New Year and my holiday in January!

Over on the wine syns last night so will cut back during the week so I don't go over for the week.

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
    L - jacket potato; beans
D - HB braised beef with extra veg - carrots, mushrooms, leeks as well as onions & garlic; mash & cabbage

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned at the moment but maybe something later
