Snow here tonight. Didn’t have it when you had it, kathrynha, just temps of -9C, brrrrr!

Wow, Sunshine, what an incentive! You are going to steal the bride’s thunder - well, maybe not, noone ever outshines a bride.

Well done, Mrs_R, on your loss. BTW, folks, I haven’t managed to read back so I’ll just congratulate everyone who has lost in the last couple of weeks and commiserate with everyone else.

Thanks, maman and beanie. Yes I’m absolutely fine (apart from football - not a good score for you tonight, boo). We’ve had decorator in since 4th doing hall and stairs – he is absolutely meticulous! He is hoping to finish tomorrow though. Then I have new blinds and curtains to put up (well OH has to do that ….) and all the stuff to get out of the various places where it’s been temporarily housed and returned. The whole place is a tip!

Looks like I’m going to have to hunt out "bubbsbeef" recipe.

OMG you can keep the snow!

I could do with borrowing your decorator... but OH would just force me up a ladder to paint myself telling me it will burn calories!

The bride is absolutely beautiful, she is petite, slim and young, she has the most gorgeous hair and skin colour. I am happy not being a blob in the background, and hopefully fitting into my old clothes (so saving money)

    :D:D:D:D:D

  • Yo-yo is on the way back down! -3lb for me tonight. A really tricky week ahead but I only need 0.5lb to get my xmas wish of getting back to my 6 stone award so I'm desperately hoping I can do that by next Weds when we break up for xmas as I'm off on holiday next Friday.

:Tmissteach That's a good loss for this time of the year!

Football was appalling. We must have the most inconsistent team ever.

Decided to come home and focus on SW, certainly won't be watching MOTD! I can't sit through that rubbish twice! :rotfl:

I just worked out my final syns total for the week. 21 left for my guesstimated meal last Thursday. Well, that was for food as I'd already allowed 30 for the wine! So 21 is fine as it was really just the cheeseboard.

I'm not going to WI tomorrow as we're out for a walk followed by lunch. Starting all over again on 105 syns. :D

Other than a bit of walking, dancing is the only exercise I do. What sort of class are you looking for ssm ?
  • Maman,

I have back and joint problems so I would normally avoid any form of classes, but a good friend has been diagnosed with diabetes and desperately needs to loose a lot of weight and get fitter but after two weeks dieting she is really unmotivated.

Last week she said that she has always fancies learning how to salsa dance.... so I though hey ho I am going to drag her there kicking and screaming if I have to! I just need to find a class near enough to her house, and make time in my diary to actually go.

    What dance do you do?

I think there is a conspiracy in my house, DS2 has just messaged me stating that at 6 pm on Saturday we are going for a very long walk with the aim of doing 20,000 steps and that for my birthday he is buying me walking boots from the Cotswold company. They are all being abusive to me. I suggested that we went for a swim together. He laughed at me. :-((((

Thanks for the sympathy. At least your OH is a happy man tonight! :)
Irony is that their manager was our manager last season but we sacked him. I bet he's laughing all the way back to Leicester! :rotfl:

Thanks for that. So the gravy thickens without any flour? That's great. When I've done my food shop I'll try it out on myself.:)

We often do gravy onion sauce mix with oxo so might work the same
