All is fine here- I haven’t posted a WI for between the 5th and 11th because I WI at Group usually on Mondays but as I’m snowbound I’m not able to WI until tomorrow- so i’ll post a WI for the 12th-18th tomorrow and then I weigh again on the 18th so i’ll wait until the 19th to post my WI for that week.
I will be weighing on the 27th so that will be up to date for week 9. Hope that makes sense?

That's fine. Just post when you weigh in, and I'll make sure it fits in to the spreadsheet.

Wondering if for the next challenge we should go for a Monday morning to Sunday evening week, as that would be the same as SW groups, so if people go to a different group they should still be in the same week.

Good to see more losses coming in.:)

Let us know how you get on with the moussaka poohsticks. Cheese sauce was one of the things I missed when I started SW. I'll add cauliflower cheese and dauphinoise potatoes to my list of Christmas treats.:)

Sorry if I misled you. Because I got back into target range last week:D I don't have to book a holiday if I don't go to WI. Anyone still getting to target has to pay whether they go or not unless they book a holiday although I think consultants can waive it if they want especially if you're group's not running on the usual day.

Good luck with the nibbles esmy and anyone else with a party to go to. Be strong!:A

Not too late bubbs. I'm interested to try it. I have eaten a bit more but I'm going to put what's left in the freezer and try your recipe when I've got veg in. So you put onions and carrots? mushrooms?what else? in the SC with sliced beef. What do you use for the gravy or is that LO from Sunday lunch?:)

I put carrotts, parsnips and onions in, i have cabbage and mashed swede on the side. I dont like mushhrooms in gravy like that:o
I used 2 beef stock cubes and 3 oxo cubes with water and it looks really rich:T:T

Thanks for that. So the gravy thickens without any flour? That's great. When I've done my food shop I'll try it out on myself.:)

It was a success ! OH was well impressed, even though I had to tweak the recipe somewhat because he can't have cheese (other than cottage cheese). It was still well tasty and filling though. A lasagne on the same lines would be easier as the mousakka has you grilling all the aubergine first, although not as good speed wise.

The recipe I used is here
    http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/moussaka

As well as the cheese I omitted the carrots, bayleaf, maple syrup(?!), paprika and cinnamon, and used a few pinches of mixed herbs rather than the individual ones.

I also scaled the quatities back to make it serve 4 rather than 6, which means we've got a portion each left for tomorrow as well
