I'd have thought a PT would be a doddle compared with what your DH gets you doing.:rotfl:Sunshinemummy wrote: »It is worth remembering that losing weight based on calories in and calories out.... you have increased the calories out so your weigh in should be fine, try to not worry. You should be proud of yourself xxx
Yes, but it's worth remembering that it takes a phenomenal amount of exercise to burn a relatively small number of calories. I think exercise is valuable for all sorts of reasons like a feel good factor (Yes, really!;)) and keeping supple and toning but it's food (and drink:o) intake that affects weightloss most IMO.Good idea to have dinner before the party as you'll be less inclined to pick at stuff!
Completely agree but it's so hard to refuse some buffet foods. I was out last night and happily walked away from mince pies and other sweet stuff which was all that was available. The problem comes when faced with spring rolls and samosas and bhajis and things like that.:(
I'm out at another buffet tonight at my dance class. I'm taking melon pieces and having dinner before I go so hopefully will avoid many syns.
I'm feeling really slim today. It's a good feeling!:D I've no plans to go to WI though until after Christmas then I'll just take it from there but it's good to feel I'm not overweight going into the festive period.
Hope you sort out your Red day denise. Have you got plenty of Speed in to use instead of potatoes. Any BNS or swede or carrots?
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, (half) HEB toast?, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs
L: ham, fried LO veg and pickled cabbagebaked cod, SW chips, roasted Mediterranean veg (mushrooms, red onions, courgettes, peppers, garlic) and maybe mushy peas.
Syns: squirt of HP sauce 1, buffet tba
DH didn't realise that the new rye bread in the freezer was sliced so he gave me one slice of ordinary. It's actually Seed Sensations but not wholemeal so I may have to count it as 3.:(0 -
Were the same maman - forgot xmas day and New Years days on a Monday so might try and weigh inbetween but if not the weigh first Monday in new year and hope I don't put too much on:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Dawdly - first of all well done on being our SOTW.
I don't know about your group but our consultant is doing her Monday group on Sunday instead!!! SW is supposed to run 52 weeks a year. Unless you're in target you'll have to pay or book holiday for any weeks you don't go to WI.
Haven't managed to sort a Red day but have sorted a SP day instead:
B - almond baked oats, using almond essence only but didn't put flaked almonds on the top like I usually do; quark
L - gammon, lentil & veg soup; 1 slice WM bread
D - gammon, baked beans, eggs and either butternut squash or carrot chips (or both!) - haven't decided yet; 1 slice WM bread
HEA - milk
HEB1 - porridge
HEB2 - bread
Syns - None

My consultant does groups on Mondays and Tuesdays. Between Christmas and New year she is doing Wednesday instead, then the first week in January she is just doing the Tuesday groups.
Definitely think it is worth going in between, to help keep slightly on trackZebras rock0 -
Hi all and apologies for disappearing for the last couple of weeks.
I haven't read all of the pages but congratulations dawdlything on sow and Kathrynha for getting back to 4 stone loss. Xxx
Week 5 for me was a 2lb gain and week 6 was a lucky 1.5lb loss. I think I've got the munchie phase out of my system and overall not as bad as it could have been and am feeling about 70% back in control. Hoping I can get back in the swing of it to hit my target for the remainder of this challenge.
Today is more about getting my head back in the game and planning for the rest of the week so will post menus again from tomorrow. Xx0 -
Have decided on having carrot chips tonight rather than butternut squash ones as have plenty in the fridge and haven't anything planned for the other half of a squash.
Not sure what DH will have but will probably want normal potatoes!

Hi everyone. Sorry for not posting but I was away last weekend and the work has been hectic. I have lost another 2lbs this week so half a pound short of my first stone. Yay xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi all - thanks to kathryna for doing the chart. Well done to dawyldthing for SOTW, congratualtions to all other losers and hugs and sympathy to the rest.
I had a bit of a lie in this morning (it was so warm in bed compared to being up, and I didn;t need to be anywhere) so brunch instead of breakfast and lunch today.
Brunch: ham salad sandwich (HEB), red pepper strips, cheese (HEA), fat free strawberry yoghurt
Dinner: We bought a couple of aubergines cheap in LIDL last week so am going to try out a low-syn moussaka recipe I've found online. Fingers crossed it comes out ok. It uses cottage cheese, natural yoghurt and eggs as a sort of bechamel sauce substitute, so it will be good if we like it as it's something we've missed since starting SW and means I could do a lasagne version.
Snacks: clemetines, banana, grapes, red peppers
Syns: a couple for spray of oil when cooking, 5.5 kit kat0 -
