I've just come back from a weekend in Switzerland and astonished (and gutted) that I've managed to put on 5lbs over just 3 days. I didn't even go crazy either but the meals were largely bread based I found so perhaps my body has reacted to that.

I was on track to have lost a stone by Christmas too ☹️

I'm going to get back on track today and see where my weight is mid week though I do have a team Christmas lunch tomorrow so timing is not great.

OMG you have put us all off travelling to Switzerland. I have not been near bread since I started SW as it is my downfall (and pastry).

Well done dawyldthing and Chrisv, it never makes rhyme or reason as to why there is a weight loss and when!

kathrynha, what a social life you have! Enjoy x

Weighed in with a 1.5lb loss. Very happy with that. Takes me back to exactly 4 stone total loss.

And my social life ain't that great. 3 of the parties I am there as a responsible adult in a room full of kids!

Glad that's you back at your 4 stone.
Not sure anyone has ever thought me a responsible adult & I am a lot older than you:rotfl:

I did not have much fruit and veg in so I left home with 5 carrots, half a pack of mini tomato, an apple and 2 banana - I returned with the banana.

When I got home, I was starving and OH made me go on a 10,000 step walk - tired!

Tea - the most flavoursome spag bol ever, with loads of veg in (no idea what he did but it was gorgeous or I was just starving).
banana, strange piece of fruit, yoghurt and sprinkle of bran.

  • Evening all.

Had some good walks in the snow yesterday & today so definitely getting the body magic in!

Also met up with a PT tonight and although we only had a 45min session I’m completely cream crackered so will sleep tonight.

Food wise I’ve been veering off plan but not too much -but still enough to make me sure whether I’ll weigh in Wednesday - in all honesty I think it will be a case of weighing Wednesday morning and making the call then.
