Pleased with that after a weekend which included alcohol and a buffet on Saturday, and mince and dumpling on Sunday
It will probably catch up with me next week :rotfl:

Which means I've got to my Xmas target a few weeks ahead (goodness knows how mind) and have lost 3 stone in 5 monthsabsolutely gobsmacked, I really am. But other than my advent calendar I've not had many syns, so might be why.
This week going out for Christmas dinner with mum and one of her friends. Swear I ordered a pudding tooso will have to see how it goes.
Well done to the losers, we're getting close to targets and some are exceeding them which is fabulous. Keep going maintaining and if you've gained a few - it's all the temptations at the mo.
Talking about temptations this will make you laugh. So we've had a new girl started and she's left a tub of chocs saying 'merry Christmas - please help yourself', it made me laugh as I guess she doesn't like the red ones as there all strawberry lol, so definately didn't tempt me lol

That's great news. Well done!:Tdawyldthing wrote: »But other than my advent calendar I've not had many syns, so might be why.Don't think haslet and faggots taste much like each other but that could be because of the gravy on faggots, lol☺! Texture is also very different, particularly commercially made faggots.
I'd add one more thing dandy to what denise and kathrynha have told you. Just because a consultant says you can then it doesn't mean you must. As an example my consultant is always saying 'fill your boots' with free food. That could be lean meat or potatoes or pasta. It makes me cringe as (although I have large portions myself) it doesn't make sense to me. One of the most important things with SW is to have at least a third of your meals as Speed (that's roughly speaking most fruit and veg). So, to me, if you up the free food (plain carbs and protein roughly) then you should up the Speed too to keep the balance. I think SW likes to be a bit mysterious to make their money. Also there are a number of posters here who don't go to group. They've maybe been in the past or just joined for a week to get the books or just go it alone asking on here. If your DH doesn't think the group is for him then it's perfectly possible to go it alone. I think the most useful thing is access to the website for syn values but we can tell you those and Google knows lots!:D
Menu on separate post.:)0 -
DH and I are out at different times this evening so we'll eat separately and I can have my favourite dinner!:D
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for drinks
L: cold beef, fried veg and picklesegg and chips with mushrooms and tomatoes
Syns: 2.5 for extra bread (I think that's maybe the last of the handcut slices:D)0 -
Wow brilliant loss Dawyldthing, especially this close to ChristmasZebras rock0

Dandy - I don't go to group - I don't think I could go in front of people to get weighed tbh. I got the books off eBay (but if you get a voucher it would be cheaper going to class then buying the books online in all honesty). I've found I eat more protein - buy packs of the mixed bacon for 99p from lidl that does me 3 days, chicken I got from the butchers, wasn't that expensive, I buy a pack of £1.69 chicken for Sunday evening as I always seem to get hungry then. And always have fruit in. I'm still wading my way through the oranges but normally buy 2 packs of Braeburn apples a week and normally get through them. Plus kiwi fruit (there not speed mind).
It's pretty much everything in moderation. I've tried dieting since I was 12. Tried every diet going, and I'm not even kidding. And I've never ever been the weight I am now since I was about 12.
Maman - I had loads of syns Wednesday to Thursday as I had 2 packs of thorntons caramel and quite a few chocolate coins. Plus have BBq cause with my wrap style pizza so am having my syns.
Bit of a bizarre one but does anyone know what fentimens cola and lemonade syns are? I love the stuff and Amazon had an offer on yesterday that I couldn't resist so got a few different types but have a feeling they will be laden with syns so will need to rashion them out:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

Curiosity Cola 6.5 per 275ml

And I get weighed at boots every week, generally on Monday. It's a bit annoying as they've put the cost up to 70p but it's not too bad and they give a ticket too:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Afternoon everyone.
Some great losses again - well done losers. Nicki don't worry about that apparent big gain in 3 days - I'm convinced flying can lead to a gain that soon goes once you're back on the ground again. I gained 41/2 lbs after an active week away but it had mostly gone by the following week.
Odd day today - no breakfast as I felt a bit 'off' this morning and had to get out to a choir performance, so didn't eat till after 1pm. Lunch was an M&S chicken and chorizo sandwich, coke zero and a Nakd bar so I think I've blown the syns for today! However googling the Nakd bar suggests that they are 6.5 syns, much to my surprise - it tasted far more synful than that and could become my new chocolate treat.
Dinner today is SW crustless quiche, mini roasties and veg so syn free. I'll have some fruit after to make up speed.
Have a good day, all.0
