I had two options - vegan ramen or veggie curry. I asked questions and picked the ramen as it sounded the healthiest (miso broth, dried noodles, mushrooms, silken tofu and veggies. But just looked at syns online and can't see a vegan ramen but some of the ramen on there are really high!

through the syns calculator and a portion (half a pot) came to 4.5 syns. But unfortunately restaurants have a habit of adding oil and other things to dishes that we wouldn't do at home so it's hard to tell. If I were you I'd just assume you used yesterday's syns on that, move on and hope for the best come WI day. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.:)
Have a lovely birthday esmy. We all deserve a treat, just get back on plan ASAP.:)
Well done on your loss tete.:T Do your friends know you do SW?
It is hard when you're short of money beanie but it can be done. Think of the money you won't be wasting on chocolate and biscuits and cakes!:D More seriously I'd have lots of soup and eggs perhaps make a big pot of veggie chilli to have with JPs or rice. Small meat portions alongside large Speed portions are both healthy and SW friendly.
I suppose I've done SW for so long now that I don't even think of the fact that maybe you can buy junk food cheaper. I don't spend a lot on our food really. Booze is a different matter.:o
ETA: Looking at my menu for today the salmon and asparagus are both YS, everything else is cheap (as chips:D).
My Aldi reopened yesterday after a month closed for refurbishment. It'll be interesting to see how it's changed when I go there later. I've done my meal plan and shopping list for the week so should be organised. I plan to be very good until Thursday WI and hopefully I'll be well within range as although we don't go away until next Sunday we're eating out all next weekend.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, tomato, spring onion, mushroom (use up;)) omelette with picklesbaked salmon, SW chips, asparagus, tomato, mushrooms
Syns: gin;)0 -
Thanks maman I didn't use any other syns yesterday so fingers crossed I'm ok. Planning on having fairly low syns today too so hopefully will be an ok first week - lesson learnt check out syns beforehand!!!0

I have to admit that when I see Whiplash's name, I read it as Little Ms Whiplash. When I see your name Mary, you really don't want to know what I read!!!

I must must must keep my foccus this am very skint at the week.
I want to loose at least 1 lb to change my front number & I had slighter lighter clothes on last night so as to look slightly more better presented than normal :rotfl:
It will be slightly more difficult as I am extremly skint.
Dont care what anyone says healthier eating is expensive.
Do you want to post what you have in and we can help with ideas?
I Personally don't find SW expensive but I meal plan and batch cook to freeze to keep costs low.One week a month is a purely freeze week for me due to how our budget works, I guess for some the likes of sw meals, muller lights, fresh berries, fruits and hifi bars can bump up the cost. Aldi is my go to for most things these days especially mince, steak, chicken and cupboard stores etc....Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

Trip to Aldi this morning for supplies, 5% mince, chicken breasts, whole chicken, steak.... tinned tuna.... frozen veggies....now to "plan" what to eat. Backwards I know but we are quirky in the house of Hinge :rotfl:
Thinking main meals this week:
cajun chicken, jacket spud and salad
steak and chips with mushrooms and salad
roast chicken dinner with veggies
Hunters chicken with bbq sauce, bacon and cheese with savoury rice and salad
Spag Bol maybe salad but its usually mostly speed in the sauce
Cottage pie and veggies
Linda M roesmary and red onion sausages with egg and chips
today:
Brunch: bacon, eggs, beans, tinned toms and mushrooms
Tea: chicken breast with cajun spice, jacket and salad
He B: 2 hifi bars (won them in the raffle!) A milk for teas
I will not have syns today to make up for lastnight blew out. I worked out I had 63 syns yesterdayoooops!
Hope everyone is ok!

Hi everyone.
The weather is absolutely brilliant today. The sun is shining and it's warm enough to sit out in.
We're spending the whole weekend here before heading back to Calais to do some last minute shopping (mainly beer and wine)! Back to UK Tuesday morning.
As I've said before the food has been fairly good, it's the bread and wine that's the problem. Tonight will be definitely off plan with a wood fired pizza from the local van where we're staying. Not had one for about 5 years now so looking forward to it.
Well done to all the Miss Slinky winners and nominees but to me everyone is a winner!

Hi
I'm not new to the forum but new to this thread. I joined SW in May 2016 and up to now I'm 3st 4lbs down. I started at 13st 9lbs and I'm now 10st 4lbs, so just 5lbs to lose until I reach target.
Today's lunch was Shapers sushi from Boots and I'm having chilli con carne for tea which is in the slow cooker. Best of luck to all of you!0 -
