Thank you everyone for the kind words. I am having sofa snuggles with my boy whilst attempting to money make.

    What is the chip app?

It's one of these new fangled banking apps that tries to trick you into saving money. It is meant to assess your spending habits and work out how much you can afford to save and move it into a savings account for you. It has a chatbot interface and 1% savings rate (although this can increase if you invite friends and they sign up).

Absolutely crawling along at the moment. £11.85 eBay net, £0.10 Citizenme, £5.89 cashback, £5 Swagbucks voucher.

Got lots of work to do to get my survey sites up to a reasonable amount.... started looking at Instagc, but not being very successful with that at the moment. Got more playing and understanding to do there.

    Evening all

Well done all those making monies :T :T

I'm packed and off to Valencia for the rest of the month. At least it will be a bit warmer, as down to zero today and then it snowed

Still another week to go, so keep on keeping on and good luck one and all.

    'See' you all next weekend

    £28.62 MB'ing today. :)

Also had confirmation through that I'll be doing a days overtime whilst the office is closed over Christmas. Not a huge amount, but overtime nonetheless, and something to look forward to end of Jan :)

Have a good weekend all. I've got a busy one planned!

EDIT: Just updated my signature, and I've now made over £2,000 since the start of August. That's incredible for me. That's 10% of my annual salary after tax/pension/student loan deductions etc. Where has MSE been all my life!

I know, I only came across it because I was pregnant with my son and I was looking for freebies to help with the cost of having a new born. And I stumbled upon the freebies page for MSE, and then I started looking around all the other pages on the forums....

well done on your amazing total since August.:T:j:beer::money:

have you read the guide I linked to? that was from a new user who found all the profitable ways to make the site work.

Update. Found 20p in the tumble drier. Received £100 back from the inland revenue. They fined OH for not doing his return on time. They only told him about this in June. He had filled in time but, for some reason, it was not showing on the site. I paid so as not to incur any other penalties, resubmitted the return and messaged them to inform them. Two weeks ago a letter saying he now owes over £300! I wrote and complained. They cancelled the new bill, updated their details and refunded the £100. Very pleased, I didn't think we would see that again. So adding that in too. M2m.

well done M2M. IR are supposed to refund any charges upon the submission of a completed tax return even if it was submitted twice as they never "received" the first one. Well done on standing your ground.

Does anyone use Clixsense? Any good?

I signed up and tried to use it. I really couldn't get on with it, so I have just let my account rot.

I am sure some of the other members on here use is successfully.

Managed to get off work for half twelve so 4hrs extra gives me an extra £32.00 :j

I finally got my estimate of my deferred BT pension and the figure I have been given is £1,267 anually if taken age 60. (Does anyone know how this works? Is it spread over the year as a monthly payment? I am rubbish with pensions)

I can take it from age 50 (Im 51) but they didnt give me any figures for this so have got back to them and requested a figure.

In theory........I'm thinking if it is a figure I find acceptable, if I took it now rather than aged 60.......it might give me the option of dropping to 3 days at work without sacrificing too much money wise.

OH is just seeing it as a way to pay for more holidays, but dropping to 3 days would make my life so much easier and more enjoyable.

    Fingers crossed.

I maybe wrong as stuff changes so fast these days, but if you took your pension now, I believe you would get less than if you took it at 60, something to do with the way it is invested I believe.

Also you can take a lump sum, ie the whole amount in one go at 60 for the year, or request it paid monthly.

but like lynnejk said, check the pension boards or google for free pension advice. There is a pension advisory service and they should be able to give you your options.

google... I mean swagbucks or instagc search :rotfl:
