Came to report earnings for yesterday and now fighting back tears after reading CBC's post. Only others with pets would understand.
At least it had a happy life with you CBC and you stopped it from having a painful death. Big Hugs. XX

Having a very bad news day and feeling rather crappy... my poor dog has a lump discovered last night. Straight to vets this morning and will be having a fine needle aspiration to test tomorrow under sedation and then surgery to remove next week as regardless of what it is its size and location behind his shoulder on side mean it has to be removed. He is only 6 and had a very low grade cancer lump on his leg about 2.5 -3 years ago which was removed. So stressed out he is my baby- is family and we all adore him. He is such a kind sweet boy and just lovely with my daughter. He is snuggling me on the sofa as a type.
Not feeling very motivated to make money but it might be a welcome distraction especially when he is at the vets tomorrow and next week. Awful when our babies are poorly.
Got £10 voucher compensation to add from Amazon for once again failing to delivery two of my prime orders on time.
Hope all goes OK at the vets, pets are family, it does make your head spin when they are unwell, sending positive wishes.

I know just what you must be going through. We lost OH's sister totally unexpectedly at the end of September and then we had to have our adored cat put to sleep a week after we got home from the funeral. We've both been on such a downer ever since.
Our lovely cat was 9 and a really adventurous country cat (although he was so loving and enjoyed his home comforts such as sleeping on our bed every night). He was a tiny bedraggled stray kitten that turned up one day and grew into the most sweet natured and perfect pet ever. He'd dragged himself home after obviously being hit by a vehicle of some sort. Although it's a rural area there are agricultural vehicles passing nearby after dark. It's along way from the road for a cat and getting home must have been such a struggle but he couldn't manage the cat flap on his own as his back limbs were totally paralysed. I was just about to go to bed when I heard him wailing and let him in. I'm so glad I was still up, it was really late for me. He didn't have a mark on him but was wailing and his breathing was so laboured. He couldn't stand up, just trying to pull himself around on the carpet. It was such a distressing thing to see.
Life just isn't the same without him, it never will be, and even after about 6 weeks I still find myself looking for him whenever I hear a sound outside the door or upstairs. I know they say time is a great healer but I've been, and still am, finding doing even normal things a real challenge still.
Sorry to read this CBC. It hurts like hell when a pet is poorly or has gone over the rainbow, they are a big part and comfort of our life, but I always feel blessed that we had that time together.
My children grew up with pets and the eldest can't bring himself to have a pet, although he would love one because of the loss he felt in the past, but he has got two children under two to keep him busy :T:rotfl:

My £10 a day tally is way behind, currently £171.12, made up from surveys, ebay, TCB.
Waiting on some payments in from TCB, surveys, MS, but won't add in until I have received the payments in.
Trying to do Christmas shopping from points, vouchers etc to keep costs down. Also trying to use Swagbucks again but will have to research some more info on it as I don't seem to rack up points as much as others.
Also found on Gl@baltestmarket surveys you can now request a paypal payment of £5 where before it used to be £30 minimum.

Did someone on here say they were thinking of trying the Chip app - I can't remember who it was? I love tech and wondered if they had used it yet and if it was any good?
Not sure whether it's for me as I like complete control over my finances, but am interested in all these new apps popping up. I definitely like new ways to save money to make things a bit more fun!2025 decluttering: 3,925🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Good day for me today with £43 to add - Ive used my £25 amazon from SB and used a coupon for £18 off first Sainsbury delivery which made even better by the fact that I only paid £2 for delivery which is a lot less than it would cost me to drive there and back too so looks like i may get close to target for November :j:jJanuary NSD8/100

Thank you so much to all of you for your kindness and to carbootcrazy for sharing - big hugs to you.
Max had fine needle aspiration today under sedation he is feeling very very sorry for himself. and is laying on and wrapped in a pile of blankets on the sofa with me. He cannot seem to get or stay warm and cries if I am not near.
Now the long wait for his results- I even picked up the package with the samples from vets so I could send it special delivery so it gets there asap rather than 1st class. Should hear by Tuesday but that feels like forever and I feel very upset and emotional. Regardless of what the lump just behind his shoulder is it has to be removed due to its location. It will be quite a big wound and even more so if they have to take big margins if its the worst and they also want to remove the small one in his groin that we were previous told was a fatty lump- the thinking being better to do everything whilst under anaesthetic.. I am so upset and stressed out not to mention worried.
I adore my boy he is family. I got him after I suffered a second miscarriage roughly 6 years and 8months ago. He was such a cute puppy and really soothed my broken heart. When my little girl arrived just before he turned two - he adored her and she him. They are so close and have a beautiful bond which is a joy to see. He is a really snuggly cuddly boy and despite his size thinks he is a lapdog. He is full of mischief and is a joy.
I am going to try and keep busy - as I suffer severe anxiety I am fighting it particularly tough and waiting both for his results and the surgery is hard.

Managed to get off work for half twelve so 4hrs extra gives me an extra £32.00 :j
I finally got my estimate of my deferred BT pension and the figure I have been given is £1,267 anually if taken age 60. (Does anyone know how this works? Is it spread over the year as a monthly payment? I am rubbish with pensions)
I can take it from age 50 (Im 51) but they didnt give me any figures for this so have got back to them and requested a figure.
In theory........I'm thinking if it is a figure I find acceptable, if I took it now rather than aged 60.......it might give me the option of dropping to 3 days at work without sacrificing too much money wise.
OH is just seeing it as a way to pay for more holidays, but dropping to 3 days would make my life so much easier and more enjoyable.
Fingers crossed.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600
