Managed to get off work for half twelve so 4hrs extra gives me an extra £32.00 :j

I finally got my estimate of my deferred BT pension and the figure I have been given is £1,267 anually if taken age 60. (Does anyone know how this works? Is it spread over the year as a monthly payment? I am rubbish with pensions)

I can take it from age 50 (Im 51) but they didnt give me any figures for this so have got back to them and requested a figure.

In theory........I'm thinking if it is a figure I find acceptable, if I took it now rather than aged 60.......it might give me the option of dropping to 3 days at work without sacrificing too much money wise.

OH is just seeing it as a way to pay for more holidays, but dropping to 3 days would make my life so much easier and more enjoyable.

    Fingers crossed.

Three days a week would be lovely fingers crossed

    Evening money makers

Sorry MIA for a couple of days but too much RL happening atm.

Gosh - what a lot of posts to catch on.

Sorry to read of the demise of your cat CBC and sending some big, squishy hugs. I realise how devasted you must be, and what a traumatic event to happen. Hope you can find a way to come to terms with the loss and try to concentrate on all the lovely memories you must have.

Trust the results come back negative for your poorly pooch Haybel - it's horrible having to wait for results.

I'm afraid I can't help much with the pension KM, not having a private pension myself. I'm sure I've seen something about a free advisory service though. Maybe it's an idea to have a punt around on the threads here - I'm sure there's a group that will have their fingertips on all the latest info. Do let us know how you get on and good luck with the three days thingy :D

I've £9.74 interest from bank, a pinetree people survey and a £9.00 MOC to add today - so total of £21.74 :j

Don't know if I'll make anything tomorrow as I'll be busy packing for my week in Valencia (going Saturday), getting up to date on washing and generally leaving place tidy :D

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday

Did someone on here say they were thinking of trying the Chip app - I can't remember who it was? I love tech and wondered if they had used it yet and if it was any good?

Not sure whether it's for me as I like complete control over my finances, but am interested in all these new apps popping up. I definitely like new ways to save money to make things a bit more fun!

That was me. I have been using it and it seems ok so far. They are going through an expansion atm and are looking for investors like crowdfunding. Not sure how I feel about this as sometimes when companies get bigger it isn't that positive for customers. I guess I will find out soon enough.

Update. Found 20p in the tumble drier. Received £100 back from the inland revenue. They fined OH for not doing his return on time. They only told him about this in June. He had filled in time but, for some reason, it was not showing on the site. I paid so as not to incur any other penalties, resubmitted the return and messaged them to inform them. Two weeks ago a letter saying he now owes over £300! I wrote and complained. They cancelled the new bill, updated their details and refunded the £100. Very pleased, I didn't think we would see that again. So adding that in too. M2m.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I am having sofa snuggles with my boy whilst attempting to money make.

    What is the chip app?

Have signed up to clicksnap after my recent success with checkoutsmart. Have been collecting the baby food freebies ready to donate to the food bank nearer to Christmas and earned a nice bit on cashback for things we buy anyway as well as having has a few nice freebies ourselves- if you haven't got this app already its well worth it.

Have £5 amazon voucher to add.
