Our neighbour had her entire kitchen filled with bees the other day! 😮
Don't feel guilty about writing without commenting on other people's diaries. So many people get so much just from reading - I know I do. We all go through periods when we waffle on and ignore everyone else (well, I do, and maybe everyone thinks I'm rude 😂). I think everyone's updates are valuable 😁7 -

Happy Father's Day weekend all
Mrs E has taken DD out for brunch with her sister, so I've had a quiet wee morning. I had a (surprisingly nice) breakfast at Mr M's with a weekend paper and then home for some light housework. DD finishes primary 1 next week, so we're thinking about taking her to H0bbycr@ft for some summer craft supplies. She has done fantastically well this year, I cannot believe the change in her academic understanding and maturity
I matched my breakfast and newspaper costs in my SIPP (£10.68, £13.35 after pension tax relief) - future Mr E will no doubt like these things too
I'm not a football fan, but last night was a very satisfying game. Looking forward to getting my sports on next weekend, as I was lucky enough to get my hands on a ticket for the Lions game at Murrayfield.

Ooh, I had forgotten the game at Murrayfield. Unlike you, I am also a football fan (late Dad took sis and I to football from age 9 (her) and 10 - even studied it for my degree, along with team sport defensive systems and attacking formations in different sports). You would not know it to see me know (middle-aged (or am I elderly?), grey-haired-too-fat-presumed-to-be-mumsy) - hey, maybe I should change my name on here...!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

The big day has arrived! I am a bit nervous as I haven't been out with anyone who isn't family for nearly a year and I don't know a couple of the folk going
On the other hand, I'm looking forward to a cracking afternoon of rugby and a chance to get out of the house.
I've done lots of housework in advance so Mrs E can have a nice relaxing day with DD and neither of us needs to worry if I have a few beers and feel erm, sleepy tomorrow. Mrs E also got the lie in this morning, so assuming I don't bring home a traffic cone or anything I should be allowed to recuperate from my partying without any ill will9 -
Have a brilliant time - and wow, partying with strangers! Hope your sleepiness isn't counteracted by traffic cones

Have lots of fun - it should be a good game. I well remember my friend returning from hockey and the following morning he turned to his wife and said, "Ugh, one of the cats has been sick in my kit bag!" - "It wasn't the cat, actually!" came the responseSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Sneaks in
Rugby was ok, but they ran out of beer 10 minutes in and I got told to self-isolate 5 days after the match (that was boring).I am matched betting again - just won £600+ on a low risk casino offer. Unbelievably lucky, let's hope they pay out. Beats savings interest.Sneaks out.7 -
Pah to self isolating, yay to that excellent casino win though! Thought I was doing ok being £12.71 up for the day 😂4
