£1.16 paid off a CC, have taken 10% off an eB@y listing as I think it was probably overpriced. I have also turned on easy pricing, which seems like a useful idea (5% reduction each time an item fails to sell until it does, capped at a minimum price that is shown up front).0

Excellent! Apparently two Sylvanian Families toys I bought at a deep discount last year are selling for c. £20 each on eB@y. DD already has one, so will be listing tomorrow.
Hectic weekend planned - gas engineer, Ike@ and swimming tomorrow, Christmas fair and Christmas tree on Sunday, Christmas visit to rental unit on Sunday
Edit: last one means parent, for anybody thinking I've taken up landlordery!0 -
I've heard people talk about Sylvania Families before. Are they toys or collectables?
I confess to still having some Pokemon toys and some sort of mini spinning tops that are at least 15 years old - still in the hiding place for last minute present deployment when invites to other children's birthday parties had not been passed on until the day... you wait... the future joys of parenting!
By the way, were you planning any more exposes (can't find accent) of your fans on here? I still have Helen in my headSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Sylvanian families are overpriced kid's toys, cutsey little animals in old fashioned clothing doing wholesome activities, usually from yesteryear!
Expos!s? Now you've got me wondering

I'm going to look back through your diary a bit later. There is at least one person who has anarchical tendencies, from memory. I am loving Spender's 19 before 19 list on her diary - I suppose 19 expos!s might be pushing it a bit. Maybe Helen can help?Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

If you have no need for/ do not want the Pok!mon I would perhaps suggest listing on t'bay - Pok!mon are once again desirable and if yours are mint in packaging could sell quite nicelyI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Yesterday was wild!
Boiler engineer identified fault almost instantly, done in about half an hour (and covered by 10 year warranty) :j
I went swimming with DD, then to IKE@ (where she hilariously sprinted around the warehouse with me following the arrows projected onto the floor - mebbe Dad's hatred of IKE@ has rubbed off on her)? We then went to the supermarket and then back home. She was affectionate and cuddly all day:smileyhea
Dinner was steamed then roasted duck with roast potatoes, steamed pointed cabbage and a duck and red wine sauce  Mrs E and I then watched the last episode of AHS and the animated version of Raymond Brigg's Father Christmas :santa2:
Had a lie in this morning (Hal-le-lu-jah!) and now up and productive. Chicken and duck stock is cooking in the PC (added onions, star anise, garlic, ginger and pepper for a posh ramen base). Currently updating spreadsheets and checking banking.
November was a fantastic month for debt busting. We paid off £710.44, which was only £100 behind our mortgage payment for the month. £1.53 paid off a CC this morning. New balance is -£16,793.45. Taking out debt repayment, our November spend was 12% lower than 2017, which I can live with in an age of relatively high inflation.
At the risk of being thoroughly nauseating, I hope you are all feeling as lucky and full of the joys of [STRIKE]spring[/STRIKE] winter as me :coffee:0 -
Aw, Ed, what a great post! I'm really happy to hear things are so good for you, heading into Christmas, that lays a really solid base. I'm laughing at the thought of DD sprinting around Ik*a, I'm trying to make myself use their online kitchen planner, but its not going well!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
