Hi all turtles :j
Checking in: 2/30
NSDs: aiming for 15 again this month -still 1/15 as spent today
Organise: Not organised grocery budget yet but did pay 2 tax bills online to HMRC, print out receipts & stapled to original bill so all in one place. No organisation in house but will do more tomorrow.
Value for money - After this post will order some stuff online & use cashback as well as I've already spent today. Also there is survey waiting to be done.
Exercise - Not as such
Mental health - Did get out today with DH, only to a shop that is some distance away but made the effort to get dressed in somewhat smarter clothes. Need to actually wear the stuff I have, as it is all nice & is not seeing the light of day. May have been a tad overdressed for a quick side trip to Aldi :rotfl:
Be Christmas ready - Bought a packet of mini mincepies to put away otherwise I will eat them. Also a little gift.
Eat well - Stuck to plan today despite temptation. All healthy stuff & no snacking unless on fruit
Report - Nice trip out with DH, getting to grips with the tax bills, looking forward to a cosy sleep & read of my bookNew start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -

Day 3 of the challenge already and shamefully this is my first check in.
NSDs- 1/12 - don't want to commit to more as I want to get most of the Christmas shopping done this month.
Organise - budgets set, no meals out planned this month but next month is another story! Got hair appointment this month.
Value for money - always wait for the sales/25% off days/see if I an get a voucher/go through TCB
Exercise - I walk to work and back every day 3 miles each way. Also the plan is to go in the work gym at lunchtime 12 times this month. Already 1/12.
Mental health - my stress buster is my nightly long soak in the bath with candles and relaxing music.
Be Christmas ready - plan to have bought the majority of presents by the end of the month. However, I don't have many to buy. Already bought one.
Eat well - would like to lose 5.5lbs - that's how much over my WW goal I am, so have to pay at the moment as we're only allowed to go 5lbs over. Trying to shift the pesky half a pound asap so I don't have to pay anymore.
Report - will try. 3 things I'm grateful for today: it's Friday, I enjoy my job and the new central heating works a treat
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Morning all,
Spend day yesterday as I bought razors, chocolate, calpol and a new drinks bottle. It was a 13 hour day at work due to an open evening so I’m knackered today
Today should be a SFD, I have work this morning and a funeral this afternoon.
Exercise is good, got 13000+ steps again yesterday, with no dog walking!
A night out this weekend has been cancelled so that’ll save me some money
LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hi all
Just checking in - today is a spendy day as we have to take our little one to hospital. Going to do better next week and then hub goes away for 2 weeks which means I will spend very little and he will earn more :money:
Organise- had a chat last night about where we want to be by the end of the year. Broke budgets / savings down into sections and I am very happy with our plan. Id like to add another 70pounds to our spending money pot for one of our weekends away so that's my mission.
Value for money- not spending loads so hard to save.Excersize- will be in the car. Christmas sorted and healthy eating- Im the guest so not up to me.
Mental health- better night sleep now LOs feeling better :A
Although it will be a spendy weekend it will still be low spends. Christening tomorrow so my only spend is drinks, birthday party sunday followed by tea out using boost voucher s (again only spend is drinks) and then fire work display (donation) this is what we need to work on- making our activities cheap and not spending money grabbing drinks etc (tends to be hub not me)
Hope you all have a lovely weekend

Morning all!
Naughty me has not checked in for two days.
Wed was bad day as I ate out for breakfast and lunch and dinner  dinner was arranged ages ago and had a very early start at work so go McDonald's drive through Breckie then late lunch on way back to office
Yesterday I spent £2.60 on junk food
Going to draw a line under the bad eating and spending.
Today will not be a NSD as I'm going food shopping. Going to go to aldi again as got in the habit of going mr m and I think their prices have gone up again
then I will be calling up to request a return of my simba mattress as it's too soft for my back so should be getting a £599 refund. Then off to fireworks later which is free followed by friends BBQ/party for which I will buy gin in aldi.
Have a lovely day everyone

Good morning,
today will be/is a spend day. Just bought my parents cheap flights to come over for my birthday number 39b. And for pretty much the same price I'll get the 4 of us over later for my dad's 70s.
Will gym today, brought my lunch to work and my dinner as I'll go out for a few drinks with a friend straight from work and don't want to have to buy sth.
Made the beef biriyani from the last Asda magazine yesterday for tea and it was delicious.finally tea total but in still in (more) debt (Oct 25 CC £1800, loan £6453, mortgage £59,924/158,000)0 -
Another spendy day today - off to both A1di & Tesc0 in a mo. Was actually organised for once and have cleaned the fridge before setting off - usually I get back with a big shop, open the fridge door and realise that it is in need of a clean.. much easier this way around

Day 3 #18 checking in:
NSD - 3/12
Grocery Budget - £68.47/£280
Value for Money - You all might be able to help with this.... Is there a way of buying giftcards cheaper than their value. Need a £15 giftcard for *bucks but sure I've read you can buy them at a discount somewhere?
Exercise - None today planned but have agreed to go to a clubbercise class next Friday
Mental Health - Full night sleep last night. I am worried about my sister who has just started a new business and is overwhelmed and her DD (17 yrs) is playing up a bit. I've also decided to reduce my time on social media. Its not healthy how many times I log in.
Xmas/DS Birthday - DS Christmas jumper ordered and paid for last month has arrived so that's ticked off. I also know what to buy my friends daughter and a friend so that's organised but not done
Eat Well - Brought in 2 satsumas today so must eat them!! Thinking a baked potato for tea so all healthy.
Be Grateful - Its Friday! Some lovely family things planned for over the weekend, & the fact I can help my Sister with her bookkeeping for her business. Also grateful we fixed our mortgage for 5 yrs earlier in the year - this is now the aim to pay off all my debt off by to put us in a better position when we need to remortgage.
Declutter - Found a 30 day plan so going to use that as my guide. Need to do days 1-3 activities to catch up with it! Took photos of items that can go on eb@y also binned a couple of smiley meal toys that seem to hang around forever!
£20 weekly budget - haven't used any yet but I know I need snack money for school on Monday and a present for friends husband on Wednesday hoping to buy this out of the grocery budget but that will be a stretch
Have a good day - Loving reading everyones updates
Money saved towards Overdraft - £4/£1500 (have other debts but this is one I'm hoping to clear first)Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £220/£260. NST Nowvember member 🐢0
