Which account is that? Limited Access Saver? If so, it's not easy access.Jerry_Mander said:

Sending money via PayPal's Friends and Family mechanism, as opposed to paying for goods or services.Jerry_Mander said:

Pay for the item using a credit card and set the credit card to be paid by DD. Doing this will yield a 2p DD.Jerry_Mander said:
How do you turn a purchase like that into a DD?tg99 said:I did an individual loose carrot the other day to trigger direct debit…..cost 2p.1 -
Yes, sorry, it's 6 withdrawals maximum per year. In my mind that made it semi-easy access. basically whatever I put in there will stay until a better rate arrives and it'll be withdrawn for that. Only one withdrawal for me.crumpet_man said:

I'm probably being dense here but won't the 2p just get added to all your other credit card purchases which then gets taken as one single DD as normal? I don't see the trick.Bridlington1 said:

Could you suggest an online bookies that makes it as easy as possible to pay in and get out again as that's all I'd be using it for and have no experience of this.Bridlington1 said:Another option for debit card spending are the bookies. Just deposit money into an online bookies account by debit card then withdraw the money straight away by paypal. Alternatively use the money for matched betting, though only do this is you're disciplined enough to refrain from gambling.

It's to maintain an otherwise unused account that is only being kept open to satisfy to conditions to get a loyalty bonus - in this case TSB require (at least) two DDs to be paid from the account monthly. The 2p carrot transaction is the only one on the card that month and settling the account satisfies one of the DDs.Jerry_Mander said:

Unfortunately not……needed to be on one of my otherwise unused credit cards in order to generate a monthly bill and thus a direct debit.Descrabled said:tg99 said:I did an individual loose carrot the other day to trigger direct debit…..cost 2p.Couldn't you have found a smaller carrot? If you had use RBS debt card you could have added £1.96 to your digital regular saver at 5% interest giving a 10p uplift in your annual income.0 -
The only purchase during the month on an otherwise unused credit card hence monthly statement bill to settle via direct debit is 2p.Jerry_Mander said:
