  • It definitely does. Stress is a major trigger for my bipolar so I try to keep calm about almost everything. even when my car was keyed across its two doors I just didn't react. It isn't worth my health. Finances is something that I can get quite worried about.
Along with the house deposit I'm aiming for financial security . I want to be in a place where if I'm out of work for a few months I have enough to cover our outgoings.
That's the aim anyways. If I could achieve all this (debt free, house deposit , house brought and 6-12 months of outgoings saved) before 30 I'd be over the moon. :j

    Well done!
  • Well done on all your work so far Mo3, I've just read through your diary. Just in case you weren't aware, you can claim tax back on washing your uniform, there's info here on MSE and I think you can back claim for about 6 years, so whilst you may have had to buy your uniform you may at least be able to claim something for washing it each week.
Working hard to save a giant deposit for the dream house...
Then taking on a giant mortgage to buy the dream house...
To then become mortgage free!!
  • Congrats Mo3!
    Choose kind:)
  • Thank you everyone !
Runningkatie I have heard of it but never done it . I'll look into it .

Spent £60 at Sainsbury's today and £10 at the local shop.

Been to see my nana. And got my timesheet signed for where I worked Monday (forgot to get it signed.)

I'm knackered. Another 12 hour day at work tomorrow. So I'm going to sort the little ones out and try and chill for abit before dinner.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend
