Last day at my current job today.

I need to get sorted with some agency work to see me through till my new job starts and will continue to do some agency work when I start my new job.

House is still tidy. Kids are watching TV. I still need to crack on with my current work set for my diploma and get some stuff sold and out the way. It's still quite cold today. I need to figure out activites for the kids for this half term.

I've been lazy the last few days with getting things done. I need a kick up the bum. I'm interested to see if my employer will pay me properly. I should get just over my normal wage this month so we will see..

I'll work out our budget for the next few months once Ive been paid. Really hoping I'll be starting my new job the beginning of November. The agency work pays weekly so that will go straight into savings each week once I've start3d my new job as it will just be extra money that we shouldn't "need" . I need to ask my employer today for copies of my certificates I've obtained while I've been there.
Feeling a little stressed ATM. As I was hoping I wouldn't have a gap with no empoymenr between jobs but it's looking like I will have now.

Off to get stuff done to keep me busy and stop me worrying.

Tomorrow will be a day at home baking with the kids and sorting out stuff to sell. All the pennies add up as they say.

I've replied to my new employer regarding my dbs etc. Hoping they will contact me this week with a start date.

Hello everyone. Hope you are all well.l

We are all full of cold here. But on the upside. I officially finished at my old employer yesterday.

I've got a provisional start date for my new Job but it's only If they receive my references in time. So In the meantime I've got some shifts with an agency just incase.and I plan to do some shifts with them anyway to increase my hours.. I just need to complete some training online and I'm good to go!
Tonight there is no more slacking I'll be cracking on with my diploma. And doing some eBay listing. We stayed at home today my brother popped over and visited.

Dinner is a pick and mix to get some of the nearly empty bags of stuff used in the freezer.

Today was a NSD.

Aiming to make £100 on eBay this week.

Nothing else to report.

oh also all of the kids outfits for Halloween still fit from last year so we don't have to make or buy new costumes

I've got the money transferred for my car to be done. It's also due mot and tax so getting that done so I can sell it with 12 months mot.
Going to take it too a garage as soon as its been done. I have a figure in my head taking into account what it's worth. Of they don't offer me what I want then I'll sell it privately .

Going out and seeing Brother in law later for coffee with the kids and partner.

Busy day tomorrow and today got a list of things I want to get done. Relieved I've got some shifts with an agency in case I don't start my new job next week.

Anxious to see if my old employer will pay my full wages.. He's known to not pay people.

Hello everyone ,

We are currently pumpkin carving with the kids.
We are going to a Halloween party and then down to the village green for the village Halloween party.
All cost free :money:

I've dipped into the emergency fund to get a new phone as mine broke completely last night. so that's £170 down . I don't tend to give out my landline number anymore . My new employer and the agency only have my mobile number and email so I couldn't put off not getting a phone and my old phone wasn't worth fixing.

I've took my car to be sprayed should. Be ready next week to sell .

I've got some agency work for next week . Will be paid for that the week after.

Have the money in the bills account for Nov ready to transfer.

I should be paid within the next week from my old job. And the end of the month for my new job as long as I've started.
I need to update tax credits next week.

Once the tax credits are sorted I'll do a breakdown of outgoings and income based on our new income. And a target amount to save each month.

My bank account is currently feeling sorry for itself. But by the end of next month should be looking healthier :cool:

NSD today .

Kids enjoyed the Halloween party. Now back home watching a film.

It's really cold outside so we just did a few houses trick and treating all people we know and spoke to them to make sure it was okay first. We follow the rule no pumpkin no knocking.

Even I dressed up again .. .

Overall it's been a nice day . :T

Last night me and DP watched a film when the kids went to bed . It was nice to spend some time together.

Today's list.
Clean and tidy house.
Do laundry
Finish online traning
Finish deploma work set
Bath kids
Extras if I have time
eBay /FB listing
Skip run

Best get a move on . Plenty to do and about ten hours to do it all

My employer hasn't paid me for my notice period I worked. I could cry !

Don't know if I have a. Leg to stand on as was there less than 2 years.

I need to update tax credits on Monday.

I still haven't heard from my new employer so I've taken a few more extra shifts with the agency.

I need to be really careful this month now due to not being paid.

Off to get some more stuff done and try and relax
