Thank you hazelnutty hope you are well?
Evening everyone I hope you are all well.
Another day at work done.
I'd like to start the ball rolling now with our deposit fund.
We are running down the freezer this week.
I'm also going to use up what I have of cleaning supplies before I buy more. I'm going to water down zoflora in a spray bottle when I have ran out of antibac spray.
I found some winter PJ's in my drawers . Save me buying new ones.
We are going to the cinema next week with the eldest. So that's something to look forward to.
I need to remember to take food with me to. Work the rest of this week. To stop me feeling sick ..
Overall today so far has been a good day. I didn't come back to such a tidy house but it's mainly sorted now.
I've listed some stuff for sale.
Dinner is cooking
Me and the eldest will be watching a film tonight when the little ones are in bed.

Evening all,
Another day at work done.
Savings are still the same.
Waiting to be paid so I can money shuffle again .
I get paid weekly at the moment . Not sure when my first pay is due. Hopefully tomorrow. I'll check my account in the morning. I've done quite a few hours so this 'months' pay should be pretty good.June 17 £16,000 debt ~ nov 18 DEBT FREE •June 21 £16,308 debt / july 22 debt free •Original mortgage free date 01/06/2059 current mortgage free date 01/05/20460 -

I need to vent .. I apologize in advance.
Today we put our youngest son in breakfast club for the first time. We had previously spoke to the headteacher and asked if it would be okay as he has additional needs. He's 5 this month but has the understanding and mental ability of a 2 year old. He attends school 9-12 mainstream and has a 1-1 during this time.
Today at breakfast club. He got out of the building and onto the car park which leads to a busy main road (the main road is acessable from the car park no gate etc ) luckily he was found before he got to the road ... I'm really angry (it takes a lot to get me upset and angry) . He could of been killed he was only at , breakfast club 15 minutes before school. Had they have found him 5 mins later we could of been laying at his bedside in hospital tonight or worse.
I don't know who I contact about this.
I just needed to vent.
Sorry

Sorry to hear that. Is the breakfast club part of the school? Have you spoken to who is in charge?0

You don't need to apologize for venting you have every right to be cross. You'd checked with the school breakfast club that he would be supported according to his needs and they let you down in a major way. It very hard to hand over care of our children to others especially when they have additional needs. You could make a written formal complaint to the whoever oversees the breakfast club and the local authority. I don't if you have a parents support group (for parents with children who have special needs) in your area that might be able to give you some advice on what to do. We've used the one in our area and they have been really helpful. Sending virtual hugs.

Thank you both for your replies I'll be speaking to the school and local authority.
I was paid yesterday. It was less than what I was expecting. So going to check my payslip when I get it too see if its correct and I'll shuffle the money about today. Will update shortly

Hi mumof3
I had a similar situation last October due to a teacher misunderstanding. I wont go into all the detail suffice to say I was at her classroom waiting to pick her up, she was let through to another class as the teacher thought she was going home with another parent (no letter from me to say that!) and was subsequently let out with 3 other girls who were all going home together. (We were meeting them there for tea)
Luckily our school is in quite large grounds with a small quiet lane before you get to the main road. She was found in tears on the lane, luckily by one of the parents and returned to me.
Like you I was livid and I demanded a meeting with the teacher(s) involved and the head to discuss safeguarding and Ofsted. Worked a treat and their procedures were tightened up (even though they were already tight - this was an NQT, poor teachers were mortified.
Id definitely ask for a meeting so they can acknowledge their failings, assess risk factors and tighten up. If you aren't then happy approach the Governors and even Ofsted.
HTH!
