    Hi Everyone

Mrs-Mix - hope you hear back from bus company - not a satisfactory situation.
Happy Birthday to dlb's son, and to Luxor's daughter.
Twink - hope you don't get chapped hands doing all the extra washing. How are the family getting on in Florida?
Heavenleigh - pictures wonderful and it looks like you all had a great time
Taplady - sorry to hear about your arm.

I haven't been able to keep up this week as I have had a rather nasty experience! Tuesday night I went up to bed and the next thing DH was asking if I was OK. It seems I had a bit of a blackout (can't remember a thing), banged my head on bedside cabinet on the way down and blood everywhere and me a bit groggy. Well DH carted me up to A&E where we were kept waiting ages before I was seen. Had all sorts of things done, blood, heart traces, x-rays and having head wound glued etc. Heart trace was a bit irregular so they decided to admit me! I confess I got into a bit of a state but DH was wonderful. Had to spend most of yesterday in hospital having a heart echo, more traces, etc. They don't know what caused it but they have reassured me that my heart looks pretty healthy so no heart attack. I am to get an appointment to get a 24 hour heart monitor fitted and then another appointment for Outpatients.

Been told to continue doing everything in moderation, have the rest of this week off and no driving for 4 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!! Feeling fine today and have been changing bed etc because was splashed with blood. The carpet still in a bit of a mess with dried blood but will get there.

DH has put his foot down and said I am not having the boys to stay for 4 weeks because he feels I have been rushing about too much. Of course we will see them but not for sleepovers.

Hope everyone else OK and not too poorly with colds etc.

Am on holiday next week so DH has decided we are clearing out the loft. I am just to go up and point to things to go and he will do the heavy work and taking to the tip.

Love and good wishes to you all.

    Good afternoon everyone,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASTER DLB AND MISS LUXOR xxx

Taplady - Ouch, you take care, and enjoy your reading - i loved My sisters keeper, and also cried at the end!!!

Nelski - Lovely!!!! and the kitchen looks fab too!!!!

Patent girl - think the brushes MrsMcawber is on about are called Tepe brushes, ive used them before (not with braces tho) and they are really good.

Ancasta - good luck with the move, i remember last year - cant believe a year has gone already tho!!!!

Heavenleigh - the party looked great fun, we are going to a party at my sisters on Saturday, and she has a chocolate fountain, and ive never had one before, so looking forward to it!!!!

Sure there are others i needed to mention, but i had another very bad night, so ((HUGS)) to everyone who wants or needs one xxx

Had the extra LO this morning, and had a lovely chat with his mum - ive agreed to have him for the rest of October, but due to the fact that ive already arranged with another mum that i would have her Lo from December, and i dont know which days (could be 5, could be less) i didnt want to mess her around. i mentioned another childminder i know, and we are going to arrange for them to meet up. Feel much better about it all now its out the way, i hate having to let people down!!!

My new laptop arrived yesterday, just before 6 - so ive had the battery charging (it says not to turn it on until the battery is fully charged) so will be turning it on later - still very excited about it!

Nothing much else going on, going to make a meatloaf for dinner tonight, DS loves it, but DD not so keen, so she is having the rest of the lamb stew left from last night - no waste here!!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely afternoon,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Good Afternoon all

ouch Taplady, hope it gets better soon!
GB - HUGS to you, that must have been a scare!
moiliere - at least your mum wont mind! If it would have been from anyone else, I would demand cost back! But thats just me - a tight a5s

Had mum turn up after I finished work, she wanted help to go through the forums on MSE, then I had to help her with her new mobile phone.

Just on my way out to do the school run, went to do the daily feed of DD hamster, and found it dead! She was very upset when I told her. So will wait till OH gets home (in about 10mins) and they can bury it!

My Thanks button has worked for some & not others (strange) this has never happened before!

    Right, off to prep dinner.
    Love Emma xxx

    patent girl

Three of my daughters have had braces so far and my youngest will be getting them soon as well.

I found that soup, spaghetti rings, macaroni cheese, scrambled eggs or omelettes seemed to be easer to eat.

I also made sure they had something like, jelly, custard or Angel Delight type stuff if they fancied something sweet.

Got DH to take me shopping and got two 26kg bags of potatoes (one white and one red) and a huge bag of onions as well as bacon, cheese, flour, eggs fruit and veg.

Popped into Netto as well and DH kept putting stuff in the trolley but at those prices I don't mind. Bought a wind up led torch in case of power problems in the winter (only £3.99!)

Hugs to everybody and just going to soak some dried peas so I can make DH's favourite soup tomorrow in the slow cooker.

    Hello ellie and chalky
Grannybroon, poor you take it very easy, and enjoy the rest xx

I love Jodi Picoult too, have read a couple of her books, have not been able to find my sisters keeper, but will keep looking, I love a good weep

Taplady, ouch take care of yourself xx
    Hugs to buffy xx

Nicola, poor youhaving to have complete bed rest, mind you I could do with a bit of that this afternoon :D , baby will be worth it though, how do you keep yourself amused?

Can't remember who was getting the chickens, but well done, my friend has lots of them, about 12 at the moment, she said they are really funny when you first get them, they really dont know what grass is, or freedom, and after a couple of days they strut around like they own the place, and they show off to the new ones when they arrive.

Going to dish up now, cant wait any longer, OH not home till later, so will plate his up and put in micro.

Hugs to any one I have missed xx
