I also found, when the ache got a bit too much after they tightened them, those really cheap ice pops, like 99p for 200 jobbies were such a god send, not exactly healthy BUT really sooth the aches if you munch on a couple.0 -

Hello all:hello: .
Last night for tea MiL brought round cauliflower cheese, mediteranian veggies and some green beans so we had that with white fish and a sour cream sauce (brown bread flour and thyme but :shhh: don't tell DH that's all that was in it!
There wasn't really enough there so we were all a bit empty at the end except for DS who didn't eat anything apart from his fish.
If MIL hadn't been there I would have taken his plate and split it between me and DH!
I have some veggies left over from tea the other night but DH forgot and chucked the water so it'll probably be a bit on the weak side for our lunch soup.
DS very snotty. Think he's coming down with a cold poor mite.
I feel a much needed stick to your bones soup or stew coming along for tea. Need to get microwave sorted as it is bust. Actually a bit of a godsend because when we had the kitchen done I told DH where I wanted it and up on the wall but he said no because the plaster will fall off (actually true for once :rotfl: ) so it's been taking up loads of space for ages.
Now it's bust I've told him that I want it out in the utility next to wm and td and stuck up on the wall out there. It can go above the breadmaker. So I'll have enough space for my blender to be out on the side in the kitchen which will mean that I'm much less lazy about using it and making cakes soups etc.

Heavenleigh - what a fantastic looking party!
Morning all. 25 + 4 days pregnant today. Looking forward to Sunday as I'll be 26 weeks which means baby 1982 will have a greater chance of viability if he pops up early. Got very frustrated and upset last night as am still on bedrest and really miserable with it. Plus I dropped a stitch in my knitting and had to start again, so I'm taking a break from the jumper and doing another nice and easy baby scarf to get more practice with.
OH is making us a pie for supper which I'm looking forward to. I'm in a positive mood today and hoping that I'll be able to go downstairs to sit for a bit later on.£4000 challenge

Morning all!
Not really been doing much OS stuff - parents are away on holiday so it's just me and the sister - she doesn't like most of the stuff I'd normally cook, so I'm actually finding it quite hard to motivate myself (101 different things to do with a spud anyone lol).
I had to have fixed braces for over 2 years - I can concur with the other suggestions, however I wouldn't use spagetti. I found that it was incredibly difficult to suck lol. (plus it hurts big time if you get your cheek caught in the wires...not good). She will get used to them, try things like shepherds pie and slow cooked stews...you can always use your tongue to mash food at the top of your mouth IFSWIM. Do be aware that if they've just put them on, that they tend not to actually 'tighten' the wires. The first time they do that is a revelation - it hurts. Her mouth will feel tender - she'll probably walk around with her mouth open a bit (if you bash your teeth together, it brings tears to the eyes). Load her up with painkillers, it passes in a couple of days. Make sure you've got soft things in for after her appointment, and as a previous poster said, icepops are your friend lol. Just tell her, it'll all be worth it in the end xxx:cool: Proud DFW Nerd 135 :cool:Sealed Pot Challenge - 0190 -

NELSKI~ come to think of it the bin could have disappeared into the bin truck. OH went to the usual fire spot, on the lookout for it and couldn’t see it. So will give the little bleeps the benefit of the doubt (this time). Last time though I heard our bin “on the move” told OH who legged down the road and commandeered it from 2 teenage lads! See why my faith has diminished P.s have you seen any WISPAS knocking about our town? (yippee for the legs!!! Took you long enough:p)

CHALKY~ glad you got the laptop sorted. Just think you could be sat on the loo reading this now your wireless! What a picture that would be!
Mortgage man came last night and was so honest with us it was unreal. He agreed what he was going to offer us wouldn’t end up being in our favour but did give us a nudge in the right direction (off the record if his company rings that is!:D ) just need to see if we will have to produce wage slips etc if we transfer mortgage lenders. Gonna do a bit of investigating later.
Listed loads of bits on eBay yesterday. OH and I sat and worked out our finances last night. The belt is defo going to have to be tightened come Dec when my half pay stops. Hence me actually getting my bum into gear and listing the eBay stuff I’ve had sat next to the comp for weeks. I live in hope whatever I sell will cover the few presents I need to buy for Christmas.
OH started a new job yesterday working with his brother. Sent him in with HM bread sarnies, HM carrot cake he said he bragged to them all about his HM baggin (even though he said that ginger cake was nice? What ginger cake, it was carrot, still if it was nice he can call it what he wants!!:D ) . (It made my day though; I need to get out more!:p )
right am off to take mutley for a walk, see if that eases the bad back of doom:rolleyes:

Hello All!
We had the Bristol Television Film Crew at our gym this morning!!!! I was hoping that maybe Colin Firth would be about to plod on the treadmill next to me - but no such luck:p :rotfl:
why is it some days it really seems a struggle at the gym? I though I was getting fitter but sometimes it doesnt feel like itjumped on the scales but I still weigh the same, so bit disheartened as I though I would have moved on abit more - legs are doing ok its just the flabby tummy apron thats the problem:rotfl: can I cheat and have a tummy tuck??:D or does this really mean that I have to knuckle down and diet:o
Did a Chicken Casserole in the SC yesterday - it was ok - but its no where near as tasty as doing it in the Oven. Also made that Bacon and Lentil soup - finally something to use up that package of lentils thats been sitting in my cupboard for YONKS!:rotfl: it was very tasty actually!
Have sorted out what to do for tea tonite yet.
nelski - oo thanks for the LEGS photo!! kitchens not bad either;) :rotfl:
taplady - ouch take it easy - you too nicola1982!
heavenleigh - that party looks fab! so does your kitchen! and that of course the choccy fountain!:D
