Evening all!
A good couple of days - various invoices have been paid, I've seen friends and family, I've got another potential new client thanks to networking, and today a client randomly tipped me £30 as a thank you! £10 of that paid for lunch out with family; the other £20 can be used for any small business expenses that come upVERY glad I went out for lunch today - I randomly bumped into an old colleague of mine who is now an entertainment booker for a large cruise ship company. She lives hundreds of miles away but she was attending a wedding at the restaurant I had lunch at - what are the chances?? Anyway, I asked if I could send over my stuff to her and she said yes very quickly, so who knows what might happen there!
Only slight bummer right now is I seem to need to rest a lot, which is frustrating me! I think it's a side effect of my medication dosage being doubled so hopefully it'll even out soon. Upside is that I'm sleeping a lot more, which is helping me feel much better emotionally :j

Hmmmm, amazing how the housework never gets done and the fun budget is the first to struggle... :rotfl: in all seriousness, the budgets will have to ease a little - I'm travelling to see my aunty and cousins in Surrey tomorrow (they live in the US so I'm not passing this up!) so the fuel budget may be out the window, and I have to pay for two prescriptions this month. Luckily two of the three new clients have already paid their deposits so any overspends will be covered without using the credit card or raiding the savings.
Busy week of work, volunteering, and more work coming up, so time to stick on the pj's and read a book. Night x

Another gig booked in today so that's nice!
I'm absolutely shattered and still have therapy and a gig tonight. Nap may be required to get up enough energy for work, but finances are all updated and looking fine for now and I'm just getting through a busy few days before I can relax on Sunday...

Evening,
Another busy and tiring day today - full morning of volunteering, followed by an afternoon gig. The gig was lovely and I had a direct enquiry based off of it, so fingers crossed that'll be my fourth new client of the month! Last night was great too - the hotel I was singing at really liked me and are thinking about putting me their roster of regular singers :T
Tomorrow's my last busy day - a wedding gig followed by a holiday park - and then I can relax on Sunday.
I made a bit of a boo boo earlier in the week and pressed the 'Prime' button on @mazon when I ordered a few things - apparently I had a trial 10 years ago so they charged me  not entitled to a refund but I got a partial credit which will probably go on Christmas pressies, so I'm only £2.99 down. It's in the diary when I need to cancel it, so until then I'm making the most of the TV bit and catching up on some Neil Gaiman projects
I've got £10.57 confirmed in TCB but not ready to pay out, plus another £3.35 pending; in Prolific I have £4.25 with £4.20 pending; and in Populus I have £44, so 2/3 more surveys and I'll be able to cash out and receive my £50 cheque.
I've noticed this month while getting ready for work that I'm running seriously low on a lot of make up. Trying to eke it out until I get a nice bunch of gigs paid off at the beginning of September...
I'm managing to keep on top of everything nicely, but my therapist wants me to make more of an effort to make time for my hobbies so I've got more of a balance in life. Maybe next week :rotfl:

Oooo "Neil Gaiman projects"... the fantastic adaptation of Good Omens perchance?
Neil has really made sure that it was true to his and his dear friend the late great Terry Pratchetts' book.

American God's is my fave Neil Gaiman novel :j
I really like how they have done the TV series, although it is very different from the book. The fact that Neil is so heavily involved in it means it will be well done indeed.
Have you seen/read his Sandman comics/graphic novels? They are my absolute favourites and what led me to the rest of his worksBUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron

Uncanny - I haven't no. "Ocean at the End of the Lane" is a big favourite of mine. Just gorgeous!
Saturday was sooo busy busy and lovely - both the wedding and my evening gig were great, although a wasp tried its best to scupper my ukulele-playing debut by crawling up my leg when I was trying to play :rotfl:
Yesterday was relaxed and I really didn't do much. It was a NSD though!
Today I've been back on it- went shopping and treated myself to a suspension training system from L!dl (it was reduced to a fiver and I love training with those - I'm suitably sore and smug), made my meal plan for the week until Saturday morning when I'm away working for the weekend, I baked a cake, I learnt some new music, I picked up my medication... Tomorrow will be much the same, I suspect.
Not much has happened on the to-do list except a bit of spending:
Rent: £450 (all in) £450 spent; clear
Fuel: £150 £80.36 spent, £69.64 left
Groceries: £100 £62.03 spent, £37.97 left

Business: £100 £42.05 spent, £57.95 left
Fun: £52.98 £47.58 spent, £5.40 left
I've also spent £9.00 on a prescription, £2.50 on a gift, and £4.99 on the suspension trainer
