I wonder what rage we'll see in the press when it comes into effect in 2020 and British tourists are stuck in huge queues trying to get to Malaga, because they didn't register in advance.
That's fairly predictable. The EU will be blamed. And the brexiteering underclasses will lap it up.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

Has there been sufficient passage of time since the referendum that a replacement can be picked on their merits rather than how they voted two years ago?
Nope, they will still need to keep the balance between Leavers and Remainers, if Rudd was replaced by a Leaver then the pressure on the likes of Johnson would rise massively from a lot of Tory MPs0 -

The numbers that leave well before normal retirement age. Working in the sector isn't what it once was. Likewise nursing was physically demanding in years gone by. Move to bank work and choose when and where to work.0 -
Kate Hoey a proper politician!
In other news put another £50 on Pritti Patel 100/1
She is the daughter of an immigrant
She is female (obviously!)
Ethnic minority
Solid Brexiteer
One of the safest Tory seats 64% of the vote
One of the most leave seats in the country as well.
Get rid of May over the summer recess and Pritti runs against Amber Rudd.0 -

May has expressed that Rudd has her full support & confidence. So Rudd has had it.0 -

You have to wait longer than that for your bags so it's no biggie. That's better than the ESTA for the US, about 1/3rd the price and lasts an extra year. What worries me more is the extra time it'll take to get through borders. Flying into any big US airport with an ESTA you still need to allow an hour for the queue.
It might be better value than an ESTA but IMHO it'll put lots of UK holidaymakers off and will encourage them towards Egypt, Turkey and even Morocco & Tunisia.
Spain will lose out for sure.0 -

You are overlooking the substantial employer contributions. Try buying a similar pension in the private sector. That will enable you to retire at 55.0
