A lot of back and forth on this thread about Brexit lies and Brexit vote rigging but no one mentioning any advantage of Brexit.

I think the long term legitimacy and continuance of our (not yours obviously) democracy is a good one.

Brace for a possible extension of the transition period.

The EU isn't going to allow it.

To be honest I'm quite a fan of irony so if I didn't get it you can be sure that a number of people reading your post will have assumed you didn't know what you were talking about rather than thinking you ought to take to the stage.
I’m really trying to take the lead on forum nonsense but it’s such a congested market.
What I thought was interesting was the idea that hard brexiters would be invited to do one. Bloomberg had an article the other day that suggested the hard brexiters just don't have the numbers which is why Rees-Mogg's neck has been retracted a touch.

JRM might have the numbers to get shut of TM but he can’t stop a soft brexit deal (whatever that is) if that’s what she wants to pursue.
So the risk is that they get shut of TM now but the membership put Anna soubry in charge. I doubt anyone really wants the job at the moment anyway.
It’s the membership numbers and attitude that’s important, not JRMs pals. Same game that the PLP played and ended up with corbyn lol.

My guess is that this outbreak of calm is nothing more than a ceasefire to see where trade talks head as that’s the crux of this whole thing. 18 months of political sideshow but it’s the next few months that dictate everything.
I think/ hope the puce faced angry old men with an overgrowth of ear hair are slowly being put back into the boxes that the referendum campaign allowed them to escape.

Your mate herzlos is keen to tell us that the remainers aren’t going anywhere, so I’m not sure why you think the leavers will.
And I had the butler trim my ear hair last week so right back at’cha girlfriend.

at least Farage voices coherent and worthwhile points in his speeches there.

In your opinion. I have followed Farage closely and all I ever heard was manipulative veiled hate speech

That sounds so much like most of the posts from remainers in this thread and the rest of your post displays that pretty much perfectly.

If your "white British taking back control" isn't hate I don't know what is. In fact it is frankly disgusting and strongly suggests that you think white Europeans should take precedence over other races and nationalities.

The positive they hope for is that immigration will be reduced.

    That's it.

No. The hoped-for positive is that "on-spec" immigration will be reduced. Certain skills might be needed but car-washers and manicurists aren't.

As for using infact.org well obviously any organisation using as their headline "Stop Brexit" is going to be so impartial isn't it, so them talking about The Sun is a bit "pot meet kettle" don't you think?

There's no point discussing cheaper food because you will probably dredge up some farce or other and as has been said, this thread is already congested with such nonsense.

Yeah, Kippers are so excited about ethnic diversity and can't wait until leaving the EU frees them from the shackles of ethnocentrism.

It's what the party is famous for.

Anyone can play that game. It's only last year that senior Labour figures attended a Muslim gathering from which all females were excluded and consigned to a different room. I don't recall them objecting to this wonderful example of ethnic diversity..

Couple of reasons. One is that they're dying - I suspect people get a bit more right wing as they age but the casual xenophobia of the hairy ear yesteryear brigade might just die with them. The other is that, IMO, brexit is getting to be a bit of a toxic brand and people will be less likely to want to be associated with having voted for it.

A bit like admitting to have once voted UKIP.

If being right wing is an age related thing then by definition the current crop will just be replaced by another bunch.
The toxic brand in politics at the moment is more likely to be seen as Corbyn’s Labour Party, only those residing in a Remainiac echo chamber would say otherwise. Brexit is becoming more normalised every day and hasn’t so far fallen foul of any democratic or negotiation hurdle.
The U.K. Brexit shambles narrative is a myth.

The Committee for leaving the EU were forced to release their impact assessment showing all scenarios would lead to lower growth over the next decade. Drip.

Correction. Only the scenarios which they actually considered. They had a lot of help from the Civil Service who are worried that they may have to do some work for a change once they can no longer rely on Brussels to do it for them. If they actually considered ALL scenarios, some of the conclusions could have been very different.
