We have all been there to some extent, and nerves are normal, and can be helpful too. They can make you hyper aware of what’s going on around you and the words people use ....and also make you step back and listen .

I think you are doing the right thing today, and have shown great strength of personality with this by the way.

What will be will be today, there will be things you may be able to say to shift things, there may not. Either way you have conducted yourself impeccably , whatever happens you can walk away knowing that in my opinion. You will end up with answers , which is what you need, and I get that.
    Good luck .

Well yes I hope I will get some answers but as you say what will be will be.

All the best , I’ve been following this thread and think you have acted in the right ways throughout. If it doesn’t go to plan remember all the times you felt strong throughout it and know you can get that feeling back. But as I said good luck

Well just got back. the meal lasted for 2 hours and we talked a lot. even went for a walk for around an hour afterwards. I have got some of the answers that I was after in regards to what the problems have been. and she has said she is willing to have more contact via messages and seeing each other.

I think that is the very best I could ever have hoped for from tonight.

the space has not actually fixed anything and she is still struggling with things. but tonight she has opened up to me again so certainly massive progress

  • Hi Gonzo, do you think you got across to her how difficult you have found this period? Did she say she has missed you?

I'm glad you got some answers. But it still sounds like she still doesn't know if she wants to be with you (sorry).
