You're right about the me time adventure. Glad it's helping and well done on consistently making time for it.
Mine has fallen by the wayside for the last week or to do must get back to it.Sealed Pot Challenge 075
Pay off by Xmas 2019 #02 - target £10,0000 -
It's surprising homegrown how much a little me time can improve things. Did a legs workout last night and my legs ache loads today!
It's finally payday - hooray! I've sent £325 to CC3, so that's the final debt payment for this month.
Total debt at 30/01/19
CC1 - £0
CC2 - £0
CC3- £3,948. - under £4K :j
CC4 - £11,050
Total debt - £14,998.
(Total debt at 28/12/18 - £15,680.).
Woohoo I've dropped into the next bracket :j:j. Feels nice to be under £15k. Cannot wait for the debt to be under £10k (I know this will take a while), but £15k still seems like loads of debt, whereas under £10k will seem like the ends in sight. Will keep plodding on and I'll get there eventually.LBM Aug 2017.

Some great figures there Adventure! I love dropping into the next £000 bracket and not only that but you're into the lower half of the overall bracket!
I'm around the same debt levels as you at the moment - £14.5k - so although it seems like a long way to go, we are making progress! We should be under 10k by September, excluding the windows and doors that we're likely to get done in the next few months. But we'll be aiming to overpay significantly once our holiday spending money is saved.
Anyway, enough about me!Sealed Pot Challenge 075

Thanks homegrown, Jwil and starmummy.
Finally made a payment to CC3 today. Have been slack making my daily pads so far this month, but need to get back to the daily bank round down as it is motivating. Today I've paid £248 to CC3. Hoping DH has a couple of extra days at work this month so we can pay a bit extra. At the moment my £15k debt repayment target for the year seems a million miles away.LBM Aug 2017.

Hi ,
I've rounded down the bank account and sent £4 to CC3 and 37p to debt savings. Is nice seeing the bank account with a round figure. Now up to 6% of the debt repayment target. Hopefully in a couple of months I can increase the amount being paid to debt again. I'm trying to be sensible at the moment and keep savings within the business.
I really need to get back the motivation to do surveys again, as the extra money is handy when it comes in.
Saw my sister yesterday, which was really lovely. Don't see her often enough, which is silly as we don't live too far from each other. Is always a bit of a break for me when we visit them, as my niece and nephew are able to entertain the DC, which leaves me to chat and have a cuppa.
I've been keeping up with doing exercise most days (not as often as I would like at times, but more than it used to be - which was 0!). Had an enjoyable walk on the treadmill last night whilst watching a film (if you haven't seen Just go with it on Netflix and like chick flick comedies you should watch it). It's going to sound a bit mean, but it gives me time on my own without having to speak to anyone without upsetting DH :rotfl:.
This afternoon I need to sort through a load of workbooks/handbooks my sister has given me and try and figure out the best plan of action for the DCs learning. I often feel I should be doing more / trying harder, so need to pull my finger out and assess where we are. Maths and reading wise we are doing well, but they both need more writing practice, especially sentence writing. They were making up stories on their online English program earlier and the story jumped all over the place, without really having a storyline whatsoever. My sister showed me an online website where you can see work children around the country of similar ages have done and its eye opening. Some of the handwriting of the 5/6 year olds is better than mine! Luckily my sister reassured me that most of her class aren't up to the online standards either, which is something!LBM Aug 2017.

Thanks Jwil. Hope all is well with you too
.
Today has ended up being incredibly relaxing (Thursday's are usually our incredibly busy/stressful day full of travel and groups). The DCs climbing lesson was cancelled and then an hour before we'd leave for their swimming lessons we got a call to say the lessons was cancelled as they'd had a code brown in the pool :rotfl:
I had rounded down the bank account and sent £8 to CC3 and 34p to debt savings this morning, but due to the cancelled lesson I've transferred the £28 to CC3 as well.
I've been sorting through our filing cabinet earlier today and found our old mortgage and some old loan statements. After reading on another diary about someone sending letters to old accounts checking for ppi via the resolver website, I decided to give it a go. I don't expect there to be any ppi, but I won't know for definite until I hear back. My sister told me that my parents have just got a ppi claim of almost £10k, but that they went through a company who takes a lot of the money, so they're not sure how much they'll end up with! :wall:
Hope everyone's had a good day.

£130 dd for CC4 has come out today, which has brought the CC4 balance into the £10ks. Cannot wait for this to be under £10k, but that's going to be months away at the current rate.
The weather is appalling here today and the DC have tennis outside this afternoon. They never cancel for rain, unless it's absolutely torrential, as the kids are running round so much it doesnt bother them too much. For us watching it's awful
. Although that being said it's nice to catch up with the other mums and get some fresh air.
