Thanks Jwil, homegrown, starmummy and Abba.
Yesterday DC2&3 had climbing lessons and were supposed to have swimming lessons straight after, but it was cancelled again. I'm not too worried about the swimming being cancelled, as it means I get a shorter day out and have some extra money. I decided to pay £20 of the swimming money to CC3.
Managed to do a couple of surveys on prolific last night. Currently at £10.92 payable and £2.35 pending. Hopefully a few more surveys will pop up in the next week or so and take me to the £20 circle payout amount.
Will be back shortly with today's update, once I've checked the bank accounts.LBM Aug 2017.

Just checked the bank accounts and rounded down the joint account. I've sent £4 to CC3 and 64p to debt savings. I've used part of the debt savings so far this month to top up the EF a bit.
I'm going to brave trying on my smart black trousers and top today and check they fit. Will be speaking to my mum this morning to find out when the funeral will be taking place, so if they don't fit it'll give me a bit of time to either stop snacking and hopefully fit back into them or buy something new (hopefully from the charity shop).
The DC have got tennis lessons this afternoon, which will be good. We're all full of cold at the moment, so being outside in the fresh air will hopefully help.
I'm planning on getting DH to swap DC3s cotbed into a toddler bed this weekend. I really REALLY need to try and sort her sleeping out. It's going to be tough trying to break her habit of waking up every night at least once, but if she starts sleeping though it'll be good for her and me.

Evening,
Not sure where the last few days have gone. DH has been off work for the last 3 days, so we've been out and about during the day. Have been out for walks at country parks each day for the last 3 days and it's been really good for the soul. I definitely need to try and stop the coffee shop habit we've slipped back into when out for the day. Although days out are budgeted for and so financially we can cope with coffee shop trips, after we've been 99% of the time I feel regret at having wasted money on not much and feel that I really shouldn't have scoffed the cake, as it is definitely not helping my waistline. Today we met my sister and niece on our walk. The kids loved wandering round with their cousin and it was nice to spend time with my sister. She was showing me the local park run route, so if I'm brave enough I might try and attend next time DH is off work at a weekend to look after the DC. In the meantime I need to get back into the habit of exercising. We've had the lurgy for the last week so I've not managed to do much exercise and it's now got to the point where I'm out of the habit and lacking motivation to do it. I could do with trying hard to reduce snacking and exercise more, as the funeral is in a couple of weeks and although I managed to fit in to 1 of the 3 pairs of black trousers I own, they are more snug than I would like.
Money wise I've paid £40 to CC3 over the last couple of days. Things are still ticking along nicely with the budget. Can't quite believe February is almost over. This month has flown by. Need to spend some time on ynab soon, as I've got a discrepancy on my app. From the bits I've read online it looks like I need to log on to the ynab page online and reconcile the account to resolve it, so I'll give that a go and hope it solves it. The problem isn't anything major (it's showing something as being uncleared when everything has been checked as cleared through the bank. The bank balance agrees to the cleared balance in the account, it's just irritating that it's gone slightly wrong).
Tomorrow DH is taking my car to work so he can drop it off for it's mot. Hopefully it should go through without any problems, as I've only recently replaced the tyres and brake disks/pads. Next month will be spendy for car work, as my service is due which is going to be pricey.LBM Aug 2017.

Morning,
Car went through the mot yesterday without any work needed. Had a fun day with the kids yesterday. We spent a couple of hours painting (I even painting a couple of pictures - it is rather therapeutic!), then we made some gingerbread shapes. Everything was going beautifully until I had to make dinner and I let the kids watch tv. Oh the arguments! Today they've asked to do painting again and I'm going to make dinner in the slow cooker, so hopefully there won't be a repeat of the arguments yesterday!
I've paid £30 to CC3 today. Only a week to go until payday.

Morning,
Rounded down the bank account this morning and sent £7 to CC3 and 5p to debt savings.
I amazingly still have the clothes budget of £40 intact. I'm going to have to transfer it to savings soon ready for a higher clothes/shoes spend month, as it's so tempting to just take that money and send it to the CC. I know I should save it, as when the Dc do suddenly outgrow their clothes or shoes it costs a fortune (not so much DC3 as she is living in the land of hand me downs!).
Got our water bill through today and we're £52 in credit. They're reducing our dd by £5, but not sure if I can get the credit back and keep the dd the same. It doesn't mention anywhere on the letter or bill that this is possible. An extra £5 a month is nice, but £52 would be a lot more useful.LBM Aug 2017.

I cannot believe how long it's been since I've updated my diary. I've been reading the diaries I subscribe to most days, but after reading often haven't had time to post. I paid £72 to CC3 yesterday and will make my final payment to CC3 tomorrow. It's been a strange month. It's gone ridiculously quickly and yet even though it's been short we haven't had loads of spare cash it seems. We've stayed on budget with the grocery bill, but in a way I feel that we should have been under budget as it was a shorter month than usual. I haven't quite figured out what our true food budget is weekly, but I suspect we're still spending more than we should. I know weight wise I've put on weight, which suggests I'm eating too much!! Anyway, I'm looking forward to the month end round up tomorrow to see how much things have changed since January.
Had a nice day out with friends today, which involved a lovely walk by a lake, trip to the park and lunch out. Definitely won't be making lunch out a regular occurrence, as it was fairly pricey (but in budget). Have been loving the glorious weather we've been having recently.LBM Aug 2017.
