Morning,
Thank you for all your messages.
I've paid £26 to CC3 today. Am out for the day with a friend who LOVES to spend lots today, so need to keep an eye on the purse strings. My DC tend to get swept away with the need to buy tat when we go out with them. Really need to try and teach them more about money and buying quality over just buying anything! Have to renew our membership for the local play farm we go to regularly, so will be fairly spendy, but money is saved for it already.
Had my Nanny's funeral yesterday, which was both sad and beautiful. Found out so many things about her life that I didn't know, which was really lovely to hear and yet sad that I never knew that much about her family history or asked as many questions as I should have whilst I had the chance. Got to see lots of family I haven't seen for ages, which was really nice. In fact the wake was definitely a happy celebration, which left us leaving happy rather than full of sadness.LBM Aug 2017.

Hi,
DH was paid for additional work he'd done yesterday, so I managed to pay an extra £275 off CC3.
We're having a really quiet day today and the DC are currently watching the film Matilda. DC3 is coming down with something and is extra clingy, so it's nice being at home. I've got a million and one things to do, but so far DC3 hasn't let me do any of them. I'd like to say I'll catch up tonight with the tidying/cleaning, but I've been so shattered recently I've been asleep by 8!LBM Aug 2017.

Hi,
I seem to have lost my debt busting mojo this month. Money seems tighter than last year, although it may be more that I'm keeping money aside for more things now so less cash left without a job.
We've just got back from a very last minute weeks holiday in Cornwall. Was lovely being away, although was a LONG journey from east Anglia.
I've updated ynab and will update the month end totals below.LBM Aug 2017.

I'm really pleased that CC3 is now under £2k and that overall I'm in the next thousand bracket. I need to try and keep an eye on the bigger picture of how much has gone and not that there's still loads left. Will be working hard to drop in to the next thousand bracket ASAP.LBM Aug 2017.
