My boyfriends SOA - Help needed here

BS
The figures have not changed since you started but the fact is the problem is not with what OH spends, the problem is that he is on crap wages.
If he was paid for a full 37 hour week, he and ultimately you would be a lot better off. He needs to move jobs so that he is not spending hours moving between sites unpaid.
Also I think he needs to contact ACAS, as i think there is a chance that this business of only paying him for the hours he is in the store and not for the travel time breaks the EU regulations. You remember the junior doctors? On call for 12 hours but only "working" and paid for 4 hours? well the EU decided that they had to be paid for the full 12 hours, all of which counted towards theri maximum hours. Cost the NHS £millions.
Even if you do not sue until he gets another job, there could be a tidy sum in compensation there. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

having been a sad stalker of your posts for my entertainment in recent days may I say how you change your mind to fit your mood.
I woud seriously question why you have attempted to start a SOA when clearly the 1st post was incorrect, you didn't want to be questioned and clearly need no help other than to rile any helpers that have come forward to you.
In attempt to help your OH income and outgoings you have questioned the whys and wherefores, no one has any right to ask a question here. You certainly aren't going to post any helpful further info without developing a fight mentality.Panda xx

black-saturn wrote: »Well I KNOW he's not lying. You underestimate the kind of relationship we have. I also said in a past post on this thread that he had appealed against the benefit decision and he is waiting for the outcome.
He gets no child support. His daughters mum is on benefit and hasn't paid anything for 6 years. She hasn't even seen her daughter for 7 years at all.
CTC is not dealt with by the benefits office but by the Inland Revenue so I don't see what any appeal about HB and Council Tax has to do with not claiming CTC especially as he claims WTC. I know you consider WTC/CTC to be benefits and don't claim them but if he is a low earner that is what it is there for.0 -

I love this site, have missed it whilst it's been away and was delighted to be able to log on tonight. However I've just looked through this thread - I totally agree with Spirit's earlier post - Why of earth are certain posters being so nasty?
I look through a lot of posts on this site and, to be honest, sometimes I read things that, to me, seem so far-fetched as to be unbelievable (to me, that is). However, everyone's entitled to their view and I just ignore these posts and move on swiftly to something more interesting.
The majority of posters are seeking constructive information and advice. We are lucky to have a site such as this and, I for one, have learned a great deal from it. Surely it shouldn't be used for certain people to air petty grievances and plain nastiness against people who they've never met and in all probability will never met.
So come on - let's be grown up about this and ignore the nonsense and concentrate to helping those we can.
Anyone else agree?0 -
Absolutely, and its something the OP should remember herself.0

Maybe now that BS and her BF have had a chance to clarify all the figures, one of them would like to post them again. If you put all income and expenditure (monthly or weekly, rather than a mixture), clarify working hours of BF, age of daughter, and what she does, what the rent includes, one of us can do a quick calculation, and give you a clearer picture.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0

I totally agree elliethecat, we all see things on here that we personally do not believe. The way I see it, sometimes, when people maybe exagerate or even change the truth a bit they are actually lonely people who are perhaps trying to make themselves more interesting. Why some people feel the need to goad them I dont know.
If you dont believe what you read move on.Away with the fairies.... Back soon0 -
